2018 2500 Megacab audio upgrade questions
I thought from their video it had DSP capability, stated it can be hooked up to laptop and parametric eq adjusted, maybe I misunderstood but it sounds as though its a basic DSP ? Couple questions, What was the quote including, PAC, deadener, Focals, Amp and install ? If that's everything I certainly don't think that's high. Mega cab floor mats
Rubber Mopar slush mats, cheap, quality great overage and fitment. New owner with a weak AC/heat fan
I agree with above findings and it seems is a problem with a lot of newer Ram owners. Dealer is unhelpful, blames the weather or says its normal, mines a 2018 Limited , mega cab and the fan speed though isn't great should be ok if it got cold...and it's not cold, it's cool....and occasionally... -

Can i use my amps crossover to run my mids?
If the amp has a bandpass feature you can set the range you want or use a passive crossover for just the mid range your wanting, ebay, DIYMA or similar forum might find crossover for cheap that'll work- FS_Vaprco

I've had many systems from mild to wild and most quality installers who tune will set you up with several variances or presets , i.e. #1 Bass heavy, #2rock, #3country #4 flat base tune. I tried to use the Quick Cal unit with no success, will not write to the 2018 2500 gas trucks. RC said has something to do with the 18 Rams auto tune software. Question is can the dealer do the same adjustment without causing me headaches.....concerned with this request it will open a can of...- FS_Vaprco

Rough country quickcal works great!
"Update" ; The Rough Country Quick Cal does NOT work on a 18' 2500 gas, spoke to them this morning and they said the new software is an auto writing software and their device does not write to it. Beware if you own a 2018 there is a high likely hood it will not work.- FS_Vaprco

yes, push button twice to get to the start point without starting and foot off brake....firt push is acc and second is run without running....that's how I went through the prompts but still giving me error.....forgot to call them this morning but will tomorrow- FS_Vaprco

Lucas Oil or Redline for 6.4L ?
In our area Lucas is quite popular for additives and oil in general, a lot of folks swear by it's superior quality. I'm not sure if this is myth or marketing ? I've read quite a few posts about the Amsoil, Royal Purple or Redline for our 2500 6.4L Hemi's but haven't seen much about Lucas...- FS_Vaprco
