They call it slick rock out there, but we have the REAL slick rock. Shit how many drunken masters impressions did we do just trying to walk down it.

I could really feel a difference in tread compound when I felt your Patagonias versus my Toyo MTs. They have an almost spongy feel. As I understand they are great on red rocks out west where dry traction and sandpaper like rock surface is better for it . On our wet loose jagged rocks here in...
I see. I had to deal with all four on the Thuren bumper. It was like one of those mind teaser mechanical puzzles, except way heavier...lol.

Looks like a fun day guys. Sorry I couldn't make it. Weather was perfect for it. Those bogs can be unpredictable down there.

That's Line-X on the bumper btw. Paid over $700 due to current political policies impact on Line-X material. Same material in lamination of plywood which is super expensive right now.

Haven't posted my wagon here in a bit. I recently got done installing a Thuren bumper with Warn fairlead, Factor 55 Ultra Hook and Baja Designs pod lights. It's quite a transformation. My build is on PWR under SimonandSimonBeast moniker.

That's where a blew a perfectly good 4.0 L motor on a '97 Jeep TJ. I waited a little too long to get a snorkle. It was right after Hurricane Dennis rolled through 1999. I was looking for some bogging, but I bit off more than I could chew entering off of Rte 206 near Lake Atsion. I drove all...
Yeah, I even up sell it with that in my description as a cheap way to get PW lift on a non PW. I got 1 nibble, but no full bites. I also have chrome side tube steps in really great shape and the 3 bars for the skid protection. My OE springs have zero rust...better than I can say about the...
Hopefully you have better luck than me. I've had my '13 parts on the Power Wagon Registry and Craigslist for a while. No bites yet. Same deal, not trying to get rich, just want to get enough for the effort.

Yep. I will be at RC in June. BTW there are some recent videos from Ronny Dahl about a weight rating issue he ran into with a Rhino rack. He ended up aborting and going another route. Not sure if it applies here, but I learned something from it about static vs dynamic load ratings.

Damn, looks like you've had a lot in the works since I last checked in with you. I think it was a good move on 86ing the roof rack. These trucks are already really tall. Just one more thing to catch wind and branches. I feel the same way about the decked bed. I'd hate to lose the...
I was going to say the same. Try lowering the tire pressure. On my '13 I'm riding 45 front and 35 rear, but I'm running E load Toyos. The D loads might need more. Thuren has a quick you tube vid about tire pressured.
