    I'll bet you that the active aero grill shutters are stuck closed. If you were to physcially remove them, I'd bet your temps drop dramatically.

    I've been running M1 0w20 and M1 filters for the first 75k miles; switched to castrol 5w30 + MOS2 with SRT filters for about the next 25k miles, and running PUP 5w30 + MOS2 with Royal Pruple filters for about the last 30k miles. Somewhere in this thread about 3 (?) years ago...Burla compared...

    Does your truck have the aero grille? The one with the flaps that close at highway speeds? If so, any chance they are 'stuck' closed? If your efan is working, that's the next thing I'd check.

    I swapped Corsa for Borla Touring now that I have LT's, here is my take.

    I put a Borla resonator on my truck (I'm running the 24-in magnaflow), but had drone at the same RPM. The resonator really knocked down, but not eliminated, the drone. I'd say it's probably 70-80% reduced. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/bor-401343

    I wrapped the cooler lines over the top of the transmission, going reward (as you see in the pic) and then on the other side brought them to the front, and used heat insulating fiberglass. I'll grab a pic this evening on the other side for you.

    I never installed the neutral bracket. Never felt the need, honestly. I actually used the location to install the transmission cooler thermostat. I think you'll be plenty fine without it if your new transmission doesn't come with it.

    It may have been expensive today. But the real question you'll ask yourself is....why wasn't it like this from the beginning? My truck completely transformed with the 8spd. No joke. Went from 'looks nice, drives fine' to 'looks nice, drives amazing'. I will likely be selling my shifter...

    The OEM plugs on one of my toy cars are the Bosch +4. Does it matter? I dunno. Could be just Germans taking care of other German companies. But I do think the OEM chose it for a reason; even if it was only for a longer service interval (most likely).
