I Also have a set off of my 2017. I don't know 100% if they fit exactly and if the plugs are the same. Regular, with defrost, no blinker, manual fold. I have the door modules too.
Lol not surprised you got the run around with the dealerships. I took my truck in twice when I first bought it, as I had the squeak. I was told to " brake hard because there may be small rocks stuck somewhere, and braking hard will clear them out" and to " break in the brakes ".
I laughed all...
I replaced my rear brake pads with the Wagner OEX Pads.
Finally got rid of the brake squeal I have had. pads still had good amount of meat on them, but figured already had the wheels off might as well replace them. They Squealed on and off since I bought it new in 2017. It was more noticeable...
4th Gen All the way. Nothing against the 5th Gen tho.. besides the fact that Its hard to distinguish what kinda truck im lookin at in the distance, Ram? Titan? Toyota? Don't gotta guess with the Sleek 4th gen tho
The battery in my '17 lasted me two years. Drove to Orielly's to get it tested after truck struggled to turn on. Sure enough, bad battery. Once the nice carpet cover was off, my battery said " 2013 " on it.
Guess I got a four year old battery in my truck from factory.

The fords with the 5.4L engine have issues with the timing chain guides going bad, some fairly early. All depends on maintenance. this goes across several gens of f150, same engine. Ford never addressed it either. As others have said all brands have possible defects, and all failures will have...
In the end who would you take the advice from? The guy who you actually see fixin' rigs and getting them back on the road. Or the biased click bait guy who shouts at the camera, bashes every car manufacturer besides Toyota, and can't even get into his garage cause he doesn't know what " throw...
ford tech makuloco is the man. His videos have helped me fix my 2 ford Exploder's a few times. Provides actual help and isn't obnoxious like Scotty. In one video he explains how he is a Ford Tech and why he went with a Ram and not a Ford. Still, Doesn't bash on ford tho. Watch a scotty video...
So what year did they make the change? I'm asking because my truck is a 2017 and it already came like that but OP stated 18+. Not that it really matters just curious.
Not related to an issue or anything just a discussion. Not sure where to post this so I figured I’d post it here. What are your guys thoughts on this title and The first portion of the video? Here’s the link.
I’m with you. I have a 96 explorer with the 5.0 V8 in it. Have had her since 2007. Odometer didn’t work when I got it and it read 118k. Don’t make them like they used to that’s for sure. Anyways, I think someone else said keep it till the Warranty runs out. I’m with that. $250 a month beats...
