89 octane.
Impossible to tell what variables were at play(headwind, traffic flow, etc) but I've noticed it gets worse MPG on anything higher than 89.
I know it'll run fine on 87, but just put in 89 for peace of mind.
On the highway I've noticed the same low 200's temps. Think city driving it gets higher.
But regardless of temperature outside, it has seemed constant so far.
Bought it in the summer in FL. Now with it cooling down/some "cold fronts" I haven't noticed much change in temps.
21MPG Hwy for 4x4 3.21
22MPG Hwy for 4x2 3.21
The MPG numbers are something that may not applicable to every trim/option out there.
You may not get 15/21 on a 4x4 with 3.92s and fully loaded.
Mid grade gas is recommended but not required. You can run 87 without the truck blowing up.
Too new...
I was disappointed to find out the sport/rebel hood had fake scoops.
Went from really wanting one to maybe if I find one for a good price.
Both of those trucks look good. I like the hood(especially if real).
Now if only they will release that cold intake soon.
Warming up to the Borla, due to the constant delay of MF.
Think there may be a group buy on the 5thgen forum.
But, not opposed to buying via Freedom/GotExhaust.
Debating Touring vs S
Down here in S FL a year or so ago the prices for 89 non ethanol were "reasonable"/no more than 93 octane. Now, it's 20-30 cents more than 93 in my area.
Used to run it every once in a while but I don't see the point if 93 is way cheaper.
For me, Laramie.
Cooled seats are a very high want, living in S. FL.
Reclined rear seats are nice too, as we go on trips a lot and the wife can sit comfortable back there next to our toddler at times.
That's me though.
For some, it's definitely "you get what you pay for".
Add in some are lugcentric and people try to throw those on without getting a ring to match the stock bore. Leads to vibration even if the tire is balanced.
Based off tirebuyer, DTD and tirerack
1. Pathfinder AT ($249)
2. Falken Wildpeak AT/3W ($255 per)
3. Nitto Terra Grappler AT ($283)
How they wear/ride/quality or actually look in person? Not sure.
Tirerack is selling some 2015 production Goodyear Wranglers for 229 a tire.
Tirebuyer is...
They tried that with me on a trade in. Got to the paper work and sure enough the sale price was 3k higher. Said their "sale" price included rebates I didn't now qualify for. Told them thank you but no deal.
Talked to the GM and sure enough I got the price they initially stated. Guess they were...
2005 E55. Think it failed not more than a month or two after the 4 year warranty expired. They walked out to the garage to see the car slammed to the floor.
Mercedes made them pay in full. Then after that roughly every 3 years. Wasn't a daily driver. Got maybe 7-10k miles at most on it per...
That's good to know. I know mine with the stock tire size loves to downshift on cruise control in Florida at times once I reach any minor incline lol.
Yea, if you have a 4x4 it's double the cost, if not more to swap gears. Was reading something to the effect that they welded the front diff on...
