Same fate for the manual transmission?
You say 2nd gen. If it's a 1500 it should be a NV4500, great trans. Not to be confused with an NV4500HD but have more than 300K on one of the trucks I work on with no problems (restate that as minimal problems) considering the truck only comes in for service when it is broke.. 300K+- Gary krk

Upgraded T-steering ?
The kit you posted off Amazon is just a replacement parts set for the inverted Y steering. I have done the inverted T on my 03 2500, as well as alot of other front end upgrades. If you're looking to get rid of death wobble.. It's a process, know there exists an upgrade kit for the older trucks...- Gary krk

What did you do to your Gen3 today?
Slagwagon, if there is enough of the original bolt protruding from the block. Run a thread cleaning die down the nowastud.. Then spray liberally with some Zep 45 and let sit for a "while". Then clean, and run the correct size but on the end of said stud and puddle weld it on. Remove with a small...- Gary krk

Power windows not workin
Check the wires inside the flex conduits between the body and door. They tend to break.
