Well, I wanted it...that's why.
Put some Michelin Pilot Sport 4S's on it...man do they hook ! They are actually better in the rain then the pirellis were dry..... Also put some powerstop Z26 brake pads on all 4 corners to get rid of the brake dust......less dust now after a 2500 mile road trip than I had after 50 miles with...- TRCM

1st time I punched it, it was in sport mode, and I expected them to spin from what I'd read, but I didn't expect them to literally get blown away.......2nd time I tried it in auto (full TC and all), and they didn't spin as hard, but still spun pretty bad...... I didn't want to put real sticky...- TRCM

I will say this....even in auto drive mode, which is the most restrictive mode (full traction control....all the safety nannies in place)...............if you punch it more than 3/4 throttle, it WILL break the tires loose and leave twin black marks at 65 mph.........I did not expect that in auto...- TRCM

In 2020 it was the optional gear...it may be standard on some years, but I know the 2022 models only get 2.62...3.09 is only an option on the redeye.........not hellcat, hellcat wb or the redeye wb anymore- TRCM

2020, sold 4/27/21....so only been registered a little over a year, 13k on the clock.............. Finding a hellcat redeye at a dealer is all but impossible....but a widebody AND with the optional 3.09 rear gear ta boot ??? (the 3.09 gear is no longer available in the widebody) And I can...- TRCM

Well, I wanted it...that's why.
Picked it up yesterday (2nd pic...lol)........and it's a whole lot of beast.......even in sport mode.................upgrade from a 2015 SRT 392 ......to a 2020 Hellcat Redeye Widebody. This was taken on the drive home......and even with traffic (4-5 mph for 30 min at a time....) as well...- TRCM

New Partner for my Truck
The official name is sepia....but most don't know that....so I say caramel or peanut butter.... I looked the HCs as well...but none had the color interior I wanted....and by the time you take into account insurance, initial cost, and the extra loan payments......my SRT 392 will cost me 1/2 as... -

That one actually kinda looks neat.....but the brush guard is a waste Imagine, have a loop on the door bottom, so you hook a rope to it, and when the door opens, it lifts you up & in.- TRCM

Here's what I ended up with.............verified via VIN to be a 1 of 1 car......if you ignore the uncommon options it has, it is still 1 of 9 for 2015. 2015 Challenger SRT 392, fully loaded.....and a flipping blast to drive !- TRCM

Sounds like my buddies engine...but his is 598 cid, and pushes 1100+ hp.....but it does require race gas to feed it's single 1450 cfm carbs' appetite. He's detuned it some since he drives it on the street now......- TRCM

When to engage 4WD?
Lots of good advice....and I'll add simply this....put it in 4wd BEFORE you need it.....IE, if you have any doubt, do it. Don't doubt it....but they is still ugly I'd bet they hit a deer and it took out the hood, windshield, and front part of the roof...so they took what they had sitting around out back and grafted it in- TRCM
