Plastic bag cost me $650
Wait until you go off-roading & get barbed wire wrapped around your driveshaft & only have a Leatherman tool to remove it. Baling twine also gets wrapped around EVERYTHING!- SilverFatBoy

OEM Battery Life
Original batteries in my 97 CTD lasted 6 years. The NAPA Orbitals that I replaced them with, just died last month (17 years). BUT,it sits on Battery Tenders (1 per battery) most of the time. I don't drive it much. A few times a year to get firewood.- SilverFatBoy

Window Tint?
I put "limo tint"(no idea what % it is) the day after I purchased my 97. I believe it's the reason my interior has stayed in such great shape. Rodents under hood
Unfortunately, a lot of "environmentally friendly" products used to manufacture newer vehicles, are super attractive to rodents.
