    Do you have pics of this installed on your H8 battery? I got the same upsized battery but don't have a cover on it. Since the oem one doesn't fit now. I didnt think they made one that fit. I have a 2016 5.7

    Yes I have a no cut kit still in the box. Haven't installed yet. I don't want to cut my factory brackets off. Was planning to cut an inch in back and have a shop install the no cut kit. Now more contradicting information. But yes I was told they can go to 5" rear but no more with helper bags...

    When I chatted with IHC over a year ago, they mentioned to me that the no-cut brackets would work for a 3/5 drop but helper bags would be needed. Now i'm confused. I have a set of them in the box still, haven't installed. I'm currently at 2/4, but don't want to cut my factory brackets off.

    I'm a bit confused. I thought the 2018+ screen unit is required to have carplay? I have the 8.4 in my 2016, this allows it to be carplay active? Or do you still need the screen upgrade? Sorry may be a dumb question

    Why the short antennas?

    I cut my stock antenna in half and painted it black. Removed the top ball and reattached on the cut antenna. Works fine, but I mainly use SXM anyways. Looks much better too

    H8 Battery DIY for 5.7 1500

    Also went with an H8 battery. Pep boys had 25% off their Champion batteries, got the AGM one. Was cheaper and more powerful than the H7. Super easy install. I may not even use the heatshield foam anymore. Had to loosen the negative cable a bit to move it over but that was all.

    I appreciate all the responses. Not looking to do nitrous. Im interested in the Edelbrock blower now if it still gives good power but safer than the other blowers. also adding the long tubes.
