Ok I'm not going to doubt you here since you've done it before, but now I'm a bit confused.... Isn't the coil pushing up and applying a significant amount of force to top hat, which is held on by the nut? Wouldn't the spring need to be compressed to the point where there is zero upward force... -

So how do you know when you've compressed the spring enough? In my mind a gap would open between the the coil itself and the top hat? The coil would become loose between the top hat and the lower spring perch(?) Seat(?) -

Yikes. I'm gonna start hitting mine every day with liquid wrench. They use salt and/or beet juice on the roads here. The truck doesn't see much action. It's a weekend wagon for the family and when I have something to do. I bring a work truck home so the ram is not a DD commuter... -

That's not a bad idea. I'm gonna talk to some local alignment shops and see what they say. So far I'm into the the spring compressor for 25$ after gift card and existing sale price. But it's amazon Prime So i can just send it back if I want. -

The trucks are 2018 and 2019 classic . Hopefully nothing is too seized up. We have an offset box wrenchs and impact gun at our disposal. Fingers crossed for a smooth install. -

This may sound stupid, but have you tried reversing the setting you did and then just driving it a bit. This may be purely anecdotal but when I pull the battery on my 2008 Audi, then reconnect and start the engine my dash is lit up like a Christmas tree. Abs warning, stability control warning...- Morgan

The instructions dont account for Canadian trucks with quads. You're going to have to have your DRLs disabled. -

Does anyone happen to know which wire is the DRL dimmer trigger wire on the Morimotos? I'd like to change the behaviour of the dimming function so the DRLs only dim when the headlights are on, but NOT dim when I switch on the parking lights. -
