My wheels finally came in yesterday. 22x10 -18 offset fuel triton's. Going to mount 305 45r22 nitto 420's on them tomorrow. I drive a ton of highway miles and was looking for absolute best highway ride with some cool looks
The exact reason I deleted my resonators was because of that awful exhaust leak sound. I hated it so much. I love the sound of just the mag muffler and no resonators that I have now. I'm looking forward to hearing your feedback about that carven kit
Actually I think removing the resonators may be louder then the muffler. It's hard to tell though. The best all around solution in my optinion would to just replace the muffler with an after-market muffler and leave the resonators in place
Shutting off mds without tuning is very simple aside from the fact you have to turn it off everytime you put the truck into gear. When you select drive you just have to use the gear selector to select 8th gear. It'll switch through the hard as normal
I welded in a magaflow muffler yesterday. I deleted the resonators. So right now I'm running just the mag muffler and factory tail pipes. I will keep an eye on the factory pipes and if they continue to leak through the factory welds then I will buy a cat back system to get rid of the crappy...
In my opinion, i think there will be a bunch of us that run into some exhaust leak issues due to the new generation and Chrysler not having their dies completely dialed in yet. My personal plan is to run the setup I have now and probably switch to a catback setup when the welds finally fail on...
Yesterday i finally got around to adding my magnaflow muffler to my already muffler and resonator deleted factory system. I love the sound now much more but the mds is very annoying. I'm in the habit of shutting it off everytime I get in the truck. This is my 3rd or 4th time under the truck...
I personally have tried a few different variations. I started by just deleting the factory muffler and left the resonators intact. That was a very subtle exhaust change. Absolutely no drone in the cab at all. These 5th gens do a much better job at keeping the cab quiet. The only downside of...
Can't wait to hear your feedback on this. With my muffler and resonators deleted it's way to loud. I think it'll be a nice happy medium with the carven kit
I have kept the factory muffler and resonators but I think I'm going to try and find a nice muffler to put in and leave the resonators out. If I don't end up liking that sound I'll order the carven cat back kit
