Nice truck! Love the color, and yes your neighbors will hate you more, a big reason i went with ram recently was because of how outdated the gm 5.3 is in terms of power.
Curious if anyone does and if so where do you keep it/have it mounted in cab? Been considering keeping one in each of my vehicles but not sure where to keep it so it isnt just rolling around the cab. Pics are a plus!
Just before i traded for my current ram i was going to restore some of the faded trim on my then current truck. Saw a youtube video where a guy restored the shine back into his trim using a heat gun as others of said but also he rubbed transmission fluid(yes really) onto the trim as he applied...
I appreciate you making that clarification. Im sure everyone was thinking the same and didnt pick up on it(i didnt) its always irked me when people say things like that and have misinformation lol. Like people who think an ls1 chevy is 350 or 6.0 is 400. Seems like small details bit there is a...
Same tranny in each as well? Before i bought my ram last year, 18 crew cab with 3.92s and 8 speed, i had test drove a quad cab that was 3.27 and 6 speed. Wasnt even a close comparison between the 2.
Definitely this with the whiplash until you find the right setting to match your driving style. Will also most likely cause your rear tires to lose grip on dry pavement by complete accident. Oops.
Was actually meant to be completely sarcastic. Its good to see this forum also has its fair share of internet tough guy warriors who know best. I bow down to your greatness.
love the new truck! When it comes to looks i think ram has it with the 1500s but for 2500 and 3500 trucks ford has the meanest look going right now. Very sharp!
Pro tip-
If you cross your legs and use your left foot for the throttle and use your right foot for braking you can eliminate most if not all lag until you get can get a peddle commander to supplement. Your welcome!
Well worth every penny. Feels like a completely different vehicle once you have it installed, which takes all of 5 minutes including reading the directions.
One thing i really hate lately is just how damn good the truck looks! As bad as i want to take it everywhere im afraid at the same time of something ignorant happening to it while its not in the driveway lol. A problem ive never had before with any other truck. And probably the reason why after...
So i washed and waxed the truck this past saturday. I have not driven the truck since washing but due to the time of year it now has a wonderful yellow coat of pollen on it. Whats the easiest/quickest method of removal? Is just a dry microfiber towel over the truck enough? Thanks in advance!
Id definitely get another ram down the road. Been chevy guy since i started driving and then got sick of the same old gm issues and switched to suoer duty, which i loved but was unnecessary for me and now im in a ram, which i chose because they are the best looking trucks currently imo, and the...
Could very well be. I think the only reason the tech even looked at it any closer was because it gave him such a hard time to remove. Im actually surprised they got the filter off in one piece and undamaged even further. So he actually showed me he put a new dry filter(no oil on the gasket) on...
I just recently installed mine as well. And had a lot of baryimg temps but no lights. So maybe a connector thats not reading right or not getting a good connection? Double check all plugs/wires again, and both ends, maybe you pulled by accident.
Well got the truck back! Did get some good news, they covered the cost of the oil change for the hold up and inconvenience which was nice. And they did inform me that the factory wants the damaged part and the factory oil filter so that they can see if they can figure out how/what/why. So its...
Thats what im saying, the dealer has been good so far tho, and i know its not the dealers fault that the factory mangled it when it was built. Just hoping to get the damn thing back today.
So after failing to get the factory filter off myself i decided to let the dealer do the trucks first oil change, just a couple ticks over 2400 miles. After sitting for over an hour and wondering what the hell they were doing to take so long, the lady in the service department handed me a pair...
