I have both the Pulsar and Pedal Commander. Running both works good as well, however since installing my Borla exhaust I have preferred setting the Pulsar to stock with MDS off and Pedal Commander to Sport +3. This has me thinking I may end up removing the Pulsar and selling it and just using...
I will try and get a sound clip of mine.....I'm not very video savvy. Installed today. However, the S-Type is louder than I expected it to be. Dont get me wrong it sounds fantastic, but you may want to consider Touring if the wife is of concern.
I was a little disappointed myself when I got mine. I have 3.92 rear as well and it just felt weak. Then i added pedal commander and Pulsar and it is much better. However, I know we shouldn't have to add this stuff to make it drive right.
I also have to disagree. I've seen dyno results in a lot of aftermarket stuff that prove gains. A solid CAI, Cat-back exhaust and tune all work very well together to greatly improve the feel of a vehicle. Will these add ons shave seconds off a 0-60 run? Most likely not much more than a few...
I thought one was going to be Vararam style and the other normal cold air intake. Neither is out yet, but I'm patiently waiting for something. All I understand about the Vararam style is that it is positioned right over the engine and pulls more air directly from the front of the vehicle instead...
most definitely. My truck is white with black emblems so black tips only make sense. As soon as Nick hears anything I will share. The Borla isnt that much more than the Magnaflow either.
I like the sound of the Carven. I was just concerned about drone. I know with Borla and Corsa there is none based on experience.
I had an MBRP years ago on a Tahoe and it had the most awful interior drone. I am just trying to avoid that. I hear mixed comments on Carven having some drone or...
I installed the PC on my non-eTorque 2019 last night and don't seem to have any issues. One question for the mechanical people out there though. Are we sure using PC and the Pulsar together is ok? I saw online, possibly on the PC website, that if you have a tune you should keep throttle...
I just really appreciate the quality of both Borla and Corsa. I think both are top notch and best in the area of no drone.
Not taking anything away from any other brand.....it just seems these two are a little different in all my research. Plus I have had Corsa before.
I am not sure how you guys get 18 - 20 average. You are magicians. I am 1600 miles in. I have 3.92 gears. I drove extremely calm for the first month and the best I saw was 17.5 combined. I am a pretty even split of highway and city driving and my average bounces from 15.5 on the weekends to 16.8...
LOL.....I hear you on that one. I love how their site says to contact sales for more info. I did that once, and all I got back was "we have no idea when these will be ready yet". Great thanks for that info. I was almost a tester for Corsa which would've gotten me one sooner, but since I had to...
Hi Nick,
Do you have any inside scoop on the Borla and Corsa full catback systems for the 2019's? I know they are working on them, but they are taking forever and unfortunately I wasn't blessed with very much patience.....lol......thanks!
Yeah I am really trying to hold out for Borla or Corsa. I have had Corsa in the past and can confirm they have zero drone, but sound amazing. From what I understand Borla is just the same.
