dash light not working and dome light to
One possible thing is a module built into the instrument panel that controls the interior lights. If that thing goes bad, you have to replace the entire instrument panel. Hopefully its not your issue but its a possibility- TERRY G ABNEY

Totalled or nah?

Start with a cluster check , Key off, press and hold the trip reset button, key on, hold button until the odometer says "CHEC" (5 or so seconds) release button an watch the cluster run through it's self test diagnostic . Pull a carfax , if you havent already and see if it tells you anything , if rust is in quarters that can be fixed in few options but check rocker panels under door area an lower and look under truck in that area on back side as well as those are known spots to check and check body mount areas- TERRY G ABNEY
