Breathers/Vents extension for Axles/Differentials, Transmission, Transfer Case, Evap - hose sizing and lengths required?

I'm going to extend the vents/breather tubes on my 2012 1500 Sport Crew 4x4. I've searched and found threads showing locations of the hard lines to attach hose to as well as suggested routing to higher points on the body or in the engine bay. I'm about to buy the necessary parts and I've seen...

Preemptively replacing cam and lifters on a 5.7 Hemi *before* tick?

I should say that my 2012 with 118k that prompted this thread is running very quietly (other than intake and exhaust mods, but I mean top end noise) and I recently put in Pennzoil Plat 5w20 and a Wix 57899XP. It's been very warm lately, usually 80s to 90s throughout the day. My oil pressure at...

Preemptively replacing cam and lifters on a 5.7 Hemi *before* tick?

I'm a total noob when it comes to transmission tuning... how would I go about that? Take to a reputable tuner or buy HP Tuners and mess with it myself or? The 3.92 is great, but I might bump up to 35s at some point and that'll just exacerbate the problem.

Preemptively replacing cam and lifters on a 5.7 Hemi *before* tick?

I go back and forth on that philosophy. Viewing risk as likelihood x consequence, it's the high consequence of breaking down somewhere very difficult to get out of, on family vacation, or killing the other parts of an otherwise solid engine that drives my consideration. True, don't fix what...

Preemptively replacing cam and lifters on a 5.7 Hemi *before* tick?

Hi all, I know this is discussed multiple times per day in Hemi world, but almost everything I read is about either rebuilding the top end after failure or bad ticking starts, or for a high performance street truck. My question is: does it make sense to replace cam, lifters, rockers, etc. on...

Wavian gas can mount in short bed with tool box

I hadn't seen those... will have to take some measurements. Any ideas on securing them beneath the box? I do have that style siphon. Probably should get another.

Wavian gas can mount in short bed with tool box

Hi all, I have a Wavian 5 gallon can and the steel strap mount. I'm looking for a creative way to mount in short bed, which has a crossover tool box against the forward cab end. See photos below. I'm thinking the cleanest installation would be to stash it under the box, which keeps it mostly...
