Wire info needed
I'm replacing my 4.7 with another. Can someone tell me what the wire in the picture is for? It connects to a wiring harness on top of the bell housing. I missed it while removing the engine. It did not break but I put some stress on it before I got it disconnected.- dpm6836

Timing chain help!
08 4.7 with 213k. Having a bad clacking/knocking noise. I believed it was the timing chain. A local mechanic did too. I broke it down and noticed slack in the cam chains. When at TDC the slack is in driver side chain (note orange plastic dowel). When I rotate one rotation the slack is in...- dpm6836
