    Brake Control

    I have a 19 and ran into 2 problems with the aftermarket. Had it installed and had to take it to dealer to have it flashed. $100. Next the light stays on in the dash and dealer said to buy their controller or live with it. Another $400 so I will live with it. It works great.

    Is this a loud sound like an engine brake? My 2019 has made this roaring sound 2 times in 5000 miles. Dealer said he has never heard of the problem.

    I have a 2012 Ram and did receive a notice. Had to the dealer 2 times and they did not have parts to fix the problem.

    Is OEM Brake controller $400 better?!?

    Did not have power to brake until it was flashed because it did not come on the truck. Brake works but light stays on. Another way to charge if controller did not come with the truck I guess.

    Factory brake controller

    I put an aftermarket one in but dealership charged $100 to flash computer to get it to work. It plugged into factory wiring. Worked in my 2015 also. My dash light will not go off an dealer said live with it or buy one from them. Anyone have this problem.

    I put an aftermarket one on my 2019 that came off my 2015. The dealership flashed it for $100. Brake works but the light on dash wont go off. Anyone have this problem? Dealership said live with it or buy one from them.
