There are weep holes already in the resonators and they sound like air leaking out, not a very good sound. Some have plugged up the holes to stop the leak sound.
5th Gen Rams 2019 and newer have a different exhaust setup than previous Rams and the sound is different from just a muffler swap. The new Rams have a single muffler with a single pipe in and single offset pipe out and connect to a Y and to the separate rear resonators and tail pipe tips.
The...
On all the hemi 2019 5th gen there is a short pipe welded to the front of the muffler and bolted to the forward exhaust flange that can be unbolted and the rear pipe is welded to the back of the muffler before the Y split for the dual pipes that must be cut.
All muffler only replacement requires cutting pipe just behind muffler. If anyone tells you no cutting required, they are not correct. Cut behind muffler where the bolt on muffler instructions tell you to and reinstall original muffler with a clamp or shop weld before you turn your truck back in.
I called the dealer before my first oil change and asked if they have and could use PUP and after checking, the service scheduler told me that they do use PUP. I scheduled my oil change and when I dropped of the truck I again asked to verify they would use PUP and they said yes.
After I picked...
There may be a difference from the reply with the 2014 Ram vs the 2019 Ram speakers? You may want to get your information from a 2019 owner if the speakers have changed over the years - or they may still be the same.

I went the other way with the Flowmaster Super 40, a little quieter than the FlowFX and perfect for me. Has the deep rumble of the Hemi but not too loud to bother the neighbors unless you get on it in the driveway. You can definatly hear the rumble in the cab when you give it gas, enough to...
Yes, that is what I do when I think about it and remember to. You can drive in entry/exit mode which is lowered down to the stops and is a little rough at slow speeds. You can toggle down before you slow down and the truck will wait till you slow down before it starts to lower to entry/exit...
I wonder if it as strong as the single tail gate. Many of us load heavy things onto the tailgate and slide or roll into the bed or even drive with part of the load on the tailgate, like a heavy motorcycle - we push the limits of our 1500s. I sometimes worry if my tailgates will support all the...
If you are considering PPF on the front then you should also consider on the lower front of the wheel flares. Many new Ram owners are complaining that the front of the wheel flares are getting chipped.
It depends on where you drive your truck. A lot of off-road driving - yes. Driving in the...
The previous gen Rams had one 3" inlet and two smaller outlets. The new gen Ram has one in and one out.
If you want the direct fit Flowmaster Outlaw, it is available for your truck.
Just an example of one: Just google "2017 Ram Flowmaster Outlaw...
I have some of the answers:
The height is programmed in 1" higher on the ORG . Some say it can be changed with the WiTech program.
The ORP shocks are "Extra" HD shocks on ORG and HD shocks on non ORG. That's why it is a littler stiffer ride.
I would still like to be able to lower the Aero...
If you set the switch to normal height it will go to normal as default and then down to aero mode at a certain highway speed and then return to normal when at a slower speed, and return to normal after entry/exit mode.
If you manually with the switch set to aero mode it will stay in aero mode...
The outlaw is pretty aggressive - a little too much for me. The direct fit FlowFx should not be as aggressive and loud. Both should be great choices for a little louder exhaust and straight through. The Super 40 is chambered like most traditional Flowmasters - good or bad, most of the...
When you keep the stock resonators and just swap out the muffler to a performance muffler it still sound pretty tame but at least gives you the nice deep rumble.
The 2019 stock exhaust is quieter than the previous generations because it has larger dual exhaust resonators. The exhaust sound...

You need good speakers to hear true low base rumble -
The Super 40 is a little quieter than the Super 44 but very similar
The ORG normal setting is 1" higher than the non ORG normal height same as the non ORG OR1 height. The ORG normal is at 3" and the OR height is at the max 4" height same as the non ORG OR2. The Aero is still 1/2" lower than the normal so on the ORG it is at 2 1/2" which is still 1" higher than...
Air Suspension with ORG has "Extra HD Shock Absorbers" vs "HD Shock Absorbers" on non ORG trucks with Air Suspension. The comparison of build sheets shows the difference - not just the Air Suspension 1" ride difference.
I have the AS with ORG and it rides a little stiffer than some of the...
The Flowmaster performance mufflers yes, are chambered but are engineered to provide easy flow and reduced back pressure - see their website for specifics.
It takes over 10 seconds to lower from aero down to entry/exit height on my truck with ORG. I am not patient to wait that long every time I shift in to park for the truck to lower. I would rather only have it lower when I ask it to, not automatically.
I dropped in the K&N filter and thought it will help increase MPG but not so sure. I will give it some time and then drop the OEM back in and check it out again. I don't have any good data to compare with yet.
I am thinking about unhooking the battery to reset the system as others had suggested...
