Not sure I have any thoughts on dropping mpg other than tire pressure or fuel quality. By the way, what mpg are you getting? Any load or do you drive empty?- Akdrmr

Gen 3 vs Gen 4 diesel MPG?
Looking to buy my first Dodge 2500 diesel, 4x4, shortbed. Will be loading a 2500# Camper and towing a single axle trailer with SxS (2,000#). I’ve heard that the 5.9L gets better mpg than the 6.7L. Would appreciate real live experience. Thanks.- Akdrmr
