Where can I find circuit F856

The problem is, without having an idea of what they're hooked into, they could be for anything. The wire diagrams are all specific to the circuit that they cover: I.e: One covers the A/C system, one covers the brakes, another covers the interior lights, and so on. Often, the color codes cross...

Where can I find circuit F856

Check your pins to the electronic gas pedal. The connector is under your dash above the pedal. Also, get the actual Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) - Any auto parts store should have the tool to pull it - if you have a ODBLink MX+ or similar, you can pull them yourself as well. The DTC will...

Lots of "lost communication" codes, Battery? PCM/ECM? Something Else?

Sounds like a bad CAN Buss or bad CAN Buss Star Connector. There are several, and they act as a communications bridge between the various computer modules in your truck.

    Front left turn signal ground

Most likely at G104 (see diagram below - it's for a later year but should still be close to applicable.) If you look, it's right at the left side of the truck engine bay, at the top, on the sheet metal support rib for the hood - just about a foot behind the headlamp.

What did you do with your 4th Gen this week?

Meh - it's a truck... I look at it like this: While I LOVE my truck, and would love to baby it and not have a scratch on it, truth is, I live in a rural area, volunteer firefight - which includes fighting woods/forest fires and having to take my truck down overgrown back roads, and drive 120...

    Instrument Display new oddity

I doubt spraying with wd40 would fix anything - actually, might even cause more problems - that's not a trick I've heard of.. Wandering orange pixels... Could be moisture in the circuit somewhere - as is condensates, it causes electrical glitches - as it evaporates, the pixels appear to wander...

Glad to hear that you've solved the issue! You'll need to do a more permanent repair at some point but at least those issues are resolved!

Those should either be splices/connectors that join/split other wires into different bundles. No need to break them apart - if you have continuity from Pin55 on the PCM to Pin2 on the AGS, Pin 1 on the AGS to GND, Fuse 41 to Pin 3 on the AGS, Fuse 01 to Pin 1 on the Radiator fan plug, Pin 2 on...

    Instrument Display new oddity

So - that's typical of LCD/OLED/LED displays that have a bad/corroded pin. It happens and the only thing that can be done about it is to replace the display unit - but I have never had to do that on a truck/car so I don't know if it's more involved (such as replacing an entire housing, or just...

2021 5.7, engine cut off driving at speed

Couple of other thoughts: Could be moisture getting into the wiring. This could be causing a signal issue through the CAN bus. It could also be a faulty CAN Bus connector (there are several). Are there any codes?

    Air conditioning fan

It would not. The different points have different resistors to manage voltage - but, even if the resistors have the same value, you'd have to move both sides in the CAN Bus - and there's no guarantee that the system would accept that. You can try of course - but I can't take any responsibility...

    Air conditioning fan

Check your Star CAN Bus connectors. There's a small capacitor in each. The thing is - it's extremely difficult to diagnose because the capacitor will read normal (about 3.6 micro-farads I think) - so you'll think it's fine... You have to hold the probes on the capacitor for several minutes...

    Audio Upgrade & Modification Basics!

So... are you sure you have the HK system? Not the Alpine? If you look center dash, where the windshield meets the glass - you should see a speaker grille with either Harmon-Kardon or Alpine. If you don't see either of these - and there's no grille, you have a base stereo system. If you have...

    Audio Upgrade & Modification Basics!

Check way up under your dash to the left of where your left knee would be. Should be an amplifier there - it'll be pretty deeply buried there on the left towards the front, almost at the firewall. I don't have the HK system so I could be wrong on that - if so, check under your front seat, or...

    Truck got broken into!

@Jeepwalker: I believe in "security through obscurity" to as much of an extent as possible. I don't advertise what I have, what I own, or what I carry. I have installed hidden features in my truck to both prevent it from being stolen, and to discourage theft of items in it. This was a...

    Fuel not going in

Gas bubble... See if you can burp it... :) On a more serious note, something is stopping up the fill tube or the vent tube: I'd start by checking for a clogged vent tube (it comes from the topside of the tank and allows air to escape while you're fueling up) will cause a problem trying to...

    Truck got broken into!

Wife and I went to a concert on Wednesday night - drove down to Atlanta to see our friends in SAUL play at the Masquerade, and also got to hang with the guys from Kingdom Collapse. Great guys - signed all our merch, etc. - Anyway, after the show, we went to get something to eat. Parked the...

    2001 ram 1500 5.2l

Specific code would help - and EVAP leaks can be caused by something as simple as your gas cap not being tightened enough, or cross-threaded. Old gas caps can have the seal degrade. If you put a non-OEM cap on, and it's not a good match - that could cause this. A quick search for "Evaporator...

2021 5.7, engine cut off driving at speed

Have them test drive it for a few miles before you accept it back! If they get stuck then it's on them to fix for sure and they can't say "everything was working when you picked it up - must be you". I'd say it's most likely the start button. It's the one thing in the immediate circuit that...

Problems with my wiring on my rear taillights

Lighting is simple: Get a cheap multi-meter. Set to Resistance/Ohms and find ground by clipping to each wire, and touching bare (unpainted) metal somewhere - exposed bolt heads are usually good enough to find ground - Tip: Ground wire is almost always solid black, black with a different color...
