Check out the installation video from LMC: They cover the process really well. I didn't have much trouble removing the dash, the only time I needed a second pair of hands was when I dragged it out of the cab. I was able to unbolt and disconnect everything by myself. It's not really that bad...- chewy_tha_baller

Yeah, it's just confusing because they named it a 'dash pad'. When I saw 'dash pad' I also thought it was just a cap, but it's not. It's a structural full replacement for the cracked piece of crap original upper dash part. Don't try to replace it with the dash structure inside the truck. It...- chewy_tha_baller

Recirculating Air/Heat
There is a fresh air / recirculation door inside the HVAC box under the dash. 'Max AC' will set the system to recirculate. Note that the temperature and air selection knobs are separate. You can set full heat and 'Max AC' at the same time and get full hot recirculating air. It's not labeled...- chewy_tha_baller

Yeah, I just installed this in my truck a few weeks ago. Note that this is not a cover, it replaces the entire upper dash and bezel. If your dash is anything like mine, it's probably just a skeleton at this point anyway. It replaces all the old shattered crap and gives you a nice solid new dash...- chewy_tha_baller
