    Woke up to this crud all over my truck. Some construction zones I go through on the way back from work. Crusted over and hard to remove. Don’t know if it’s paint or what? Pretty pissed.

    Got these puddle lights/signals. Stock passenger side was out for as long as I remember so figured spending $50 wasn’t too bad. Nice smoked look to them.

    Update, finally got the truck back. Replace the TIPM along with the serpentine belt which had a massive rip in it and various maintenance needs parentheses transfer case differential, etc. We’ll see how long I can keep this truck alive!

    Appreciate the info. Whatever the fix is, I’m thinking it’ll be my last ditch effort to keep this truck. It’s served me well, but the mileage is definitely getting to it.

    Update: called to get a status on the truck. TIPM is back ordered and not expected to arrive till the 20th…another frustrating chapter with this truck.

    Replaced camshaft position sensor about a year ago for similar issue at a private shop so hopefully won’t be that..

    So they came back with some news late yesterday. They state there’s no voltage getting to the fuel pump so they want to replace the TIPM. Honestly don’t know if it’s the correct repair and it’s a bit pricey, but I don’t have much of a choice between a rock and a hard place in this one.

    Well, Fahren LEDs that I bought 4 months back just went out on me and coulda swore the Fahren fogs were flickering the other night. Any suggestions on LEDs that’ll last? Super disappointed as I thought Fahren had a good reputation.

    Just got the truck out of the shop from the deer incident and installed 6500k Fahren LEDs in the headlights and fogs. Very nice output. Head and shoulders above the stock halogens and even silver stars.

    Yup! Hit it right in the sweet spot. Just a couple of thumps then made sure he was gone and he definitely was…another reason to drive a Ram!

    Smoked a deer going 55. Sucker came out of nowhere after a slight turn. Only had a split second so all I did was take my foot off the gas and brace for impact. Impressed with how the truck took it. Could be worse! Thank you, insurance.
