We have a 17RD Starcraft. Even it requires a WDH. The springs are bouncy. 3.21 should be fine as you have the power and are under the limit. Crank the wdh right up. I had a setup for a caravan and I had to crank mine up further when I got the ram 1500 5.7. You might like some kind of air bag system and definitely a K and N filter. Just the drop in.- Disco Ard

2017 5.7 oil
I have a 2018. It has 32000km on it. I only noticed a tick once and that was when it was parked nose down in my driveway. I park it nose up and never an issue.
