    I thought the same until i compared $$$ & towing before buying the Rebel. The PW was 12k more and towed 2000 less. The extra cash weighed in a little higher than the towing capacity. I wish the Rebel 3/4 ton had been around then....I would have spent the extra cash.

    I would get the Rebel 2500 and call it good. 6.4 and 16k towing [minus payload of course]. You will miss out on the ridiculous start stop crap [yeah you can turn it off EVERY time you get in the truck, but I wouldn't buy one.

    Yessir, to and from Dallas M-F is over 100 miles each day minimum IF I don't have appointments, material runs, etc. Then it can easily double. About 35k year.

    My battery lasted three years/100k miles or so. Replaced it just this last fall. I got a good one. Batteries are never covered on warranty from the factory, they are considered regular maintenance items.

    Even on my HK system, there's not much sound coming from the back even when the balance/fade is weighted that way. Sound quality is excellent though I don't feel it's 'twice the amount of speakers' better than the Alpine I had in my 2016. So that tells me the problem isn't the speakers at all...

    That's what I just bought....HEAVY and will likely never wear out. I put it on top of my Decked drawer system [found a used one for $600 to fit my Rambox Rebel]. I am putting trim on it today if the rain will stop to eliminate leaves and such getting in from the bed.

    I like the Home part of the 12" Uconnect and by default it lands on the favorites part of the GPS and I have to swipe the screen to get to the map. Is there a way to have the map come up automatically everytime I hit the home button?

    Are dealer oil changes required for warranty?

    No, but your likelyhood of getting a warranty repair are better if you do let them change the oil if you have an extended warranty or any kind. I have been taking mine to the dealer where I bought the truck now for 3 years+.
