    I have a 2018 2500 with the Cummins diesel and the shift on the fly transfer case. What is the model of this transfer case? Is it chain or gear driven? If chain how hard is it to change the chain. I feel slack somewhere in the drivetrain but haven’t gotten under the truck to check things out...

    Who Has The Most Miles On Original Spark Plugs ?

    I just traded in my 2014 with 208,000 miles on original plugs. My wife’s truck was bought with about 150000 miles on it, now has close to 240,000 and I feel like they are original plugs. They looked great two weeks ago when I pulled them to change valve cover gasket.

    What is this gauge?

    Thanks. I remember seeing it as a fuel filter gauge when I first got the truck a week and a half ago. I haven’t had the chance to scroll through things since. I knew it wasn’t the DEF gauge because it is a separate gauge and was showing full when I got the truck.

    Key fob problem

    This morning I pulled the FOB out and I got the key in ignition chime, so I put the FOB back in and turned it on and back off and everything was fine then. I could care less now because it is going to the dealer today as a trade in. I bought a 2018 2500 crew cab, long bed, Cummins yesterday.

    Did you replace your WIN module too, just curious because I replaced both the module and the GOB and everything is working perfectly again.

    I got back with the locksmith and he made me a new FOBand everything is working fine, for now anyway.

    Update. I got a new WIN module in, installed it and it’s still hit or miss if it starts. I’m trying both fobs and even turning them over. I can’t even find a pattern as to which FOB works and which direction, it is so random.

    I was told by a locksmith that the problem would be the WIN Module, more or less the ignition switch. I’ve got one ordered, so we shall see.

    Be careful!

    I added water from my garden hose to my coolant reservoir once thinking it was the washer fluid reservoir, luckily no harm done. I dislike trying to read the level of coolant on the dipstick. It is so hard to see.

    So far no problems with the pump. It’s just the fact that i will be making a trip from S.E. Texas to Billings Montana and will be there for about two weeks and then the drive back home and I’m not wanting to be stranded on the road or in MT.     I’m pretty sure it is a relay that causes this, but I have no idea how to bypass it or even why you would want to do that.
