Trying to decide which tire to purchase. Size 35 12.5 20 rating R 12 ply. First two are cheaper but have solid reviews, currently have Nitto’s, lasted 2.5 years. About a $600 additional cost for the Nitto’s. The first two are made in Taiwan. Any help would be appreciated.
The 6.4 gasser tows more weight than the Cummins. The stats show this. Add a good WDH and bags and tow with it. Take it to the scales to determine if the weights are within perimeters. You can always trade up if your not happy.
I might return the truck and demand a refund. If they refuse to refund, I would have my attorney make a demand on their dealer bond for the refund and costs.
With my bottom seat up, there is a annoying rattle that is continuous. The dealer says it is not repairable and is a design flaw. Anyone else have this issue on a 2500?
This is some joke or something else. You could not tow this trailer safely. If you were in a accident the insurance would never never cover. You are so overweight, no telling what lawsuits you would be subject too, if you hurt someone or caused property damage.
He is talking about CalPers and CalStrs employees. State employees are retiring and changing their mailing address to South Dakota and not really leaving the state full time. But I think you should leave Cali...
When I had my 5.3 replaced because of their shabby lifters, I went new because the truck itself was primo. New motor has 3yr/36 month warranty. Cost was 10k including new radiator. Gave truck to son and bought a Ram, lol
I have a 18 2500 CTD, tomorrow I’m installing the Bilstein BB 5162 with shocks and springs and will raise the front 2” and back 1” to fit 35’s. I tow a 6800 pound trailer with WDH and hoping for no sag....
It can be such a major shock. I had a 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT with a 5.3. From day 1 I had disabled AFM because of all their reported problems. Ran Amsoil and changed the oil at 30%. Did pull a TT at 6,000 pounds occasionally. Lifter went at 103,000 miles, GM would not even share expense. $10k...
2018 Ram 2500 4x4, tow Airstream 27 foot, trying to decide between Michelin LTX M/S, Nitto Ridge Grappler, Cooper S/T Maxx? Tow 1-2 times a month. Tired of the Firestone’s with little traction at times.
2018 Ram 2500 CTD 4 wheel drive, truck has Billstein 4600 that came stock. Based on what I’ve read, I just purchased 5100’s and 2 inch leveling kit. I’m just not sure if this is the right thing to do? I do tow a Airstream that weighs 7800 pounds. Will this setup be an improvement over stock?
