most likely the idle control. i had a 93 ramcharger that used to do the same. cleaned to TB, that helped for a while. eventually had to change the valve- jakefrancis127

Corrosion in the bulb socket caused a short, the short pigtail with the socket and the 3 pin connector are too damaged. Local parts house has the part minus the 3 pin connector. Time to bust out the weatherpack connectors- jakefrancis127

3.7 slant six swap to 440 info?
the four speed you have will work just fine. you can search ebay to find a original big block bellhousing, the bolt pattern will be the same. not sure about where to find the motor mounts. flywheel and clutch kits can be had from summit, etc. probably going to have to go aftermarket with the...- jakefrancis127

Dont know if you still need an answer, but theres a good chance the vaccuum booster has a hole in it. make sure to check the hose going to it that its not split- jakefrancis127
