since the width of the new tires will be wider, will my stock wheels even work with them or will i have to get some new wheels to go with the new tires?
If the tires are wider than the average tire will they have a chance at rubbing? Or is it 100% that every 33" tire will fit no matter what the width? Sorry if I am asking the same question over and over, I just really wanna make sure I am buying the right tires. And thanks everyone!
So you are sure that even though I have a 2wd and it sits lower than 4wds, 33in tires will still fit without rubbing on stock suspension? I would probably have to stick with my stock 17in wheels until I can afford to buy new ones
Yeah I'm gonna check out both of those! I want them to handle well in the snow but I also want them to look rather aggressive, at least like the nitto terras. I like how those and yours are much wider than stock.
I don't know if I would be able to fit 33in tires under my 2wd without getting a lift of some sort. What do you think?
But I will have to look into some of these, you guys are giving me some good options. Any other recommendations?
Alright thank you! I need it to handle well in the snow but I would also like a somewhat aggressive look to them. I like how the nittos are noticeably wider than stock so that's also something I am looking for
So my parents finally realized I wasn't lying to them saying that I need new tires for my truck and am curious to what tires you all think would be best that wouldn't break my parents bank. lol. I live in Wisconsin and we just got over a foot of snow in the past 24 hours so they need to handle...
Alright that makes sense. I will probably try to plasti dip them and if I really like it maybe powder blast them
Post some pics when they are done please!
thanks guys. You think a silver 1500 crew cab with tinted windows would look good with the stock wheels plasti dipped??? And does anybody recommend powder blasting over plasti dipping?
Are there any people out there that have a silver ram with plasti dipped stock wheels??? If so please post them up on this thread so I can see what my truck would look like with it done. I recently got a reality check that it's going to be a while before I can get new tires and wheels :banghead...
That's a smart idea. When they come unfinished and are black, do people leave them unfinished or do some actually take the time to paint them black to give the finish a different look?
