Nothing wrong with Kroger gas. I had Hemifever do an 89 tune and a trans tune on my truck. I did the whole thing where you drive the truck around recording and then send him the log files, etc. He said "Whatever gas you're using, stick with it".
Here's my 2015 Outdoorsman at 2.8" with a 1" rear spacer. Still has rake, so I recently added a 1/2" spacer on top of the Bilstein's. No pics of that yet.
It doesn't affect the rear speaker volume or quality at all. Also, it's very easy to pull off the B pillar trim. You don't even need tools. It pops off in under a minute.
Also, this makes a tremendous difference vs. a $20 LOC. I wish I would have gotten it right of the bat. When I switched over to this, it sounded like I added another sub, LOL...
On a vehicle with a NON Alpine system, the other end of the plug is not connected to anything. In an Alpine equipped vehicle it connects to a factory amp. Therefore, it's just much easier to get your signal from the rear door speaker wires. I tapped in inside the B pillar.

Yes, I have the "non Alpine" 8.4 Uconnect. That connector will be there no matter which radio you have. When they build the trucks, they install the same wiring harness in all of them. It's there... it's just not powered or anything. Same goes for trucks without rear under seat lighting or...
There is a slit in the carpet under the back seat (inside the "pod" where the speaker goes) and if you dig around, you'll find the subwoofer connector. However, it's not powered or anything. So, I chopped it off and used that connector on the end of my speaker wires from an aftermarket amp. I'm...
On one, you get a dry flow filter, on the other, you get an oiled one (like a K&N). I personally got the oiled one because I travel "Up North" several times a year and it's all dirt roads up there.
It shouldn't run rough at all. Mine fired right up and runs smooth. Give them a chance. Lots and Lots of places take a Christmas break... especially "non essential" business. The first PCM I got was smashed by UPS. Diablosport took care of me right away. I bet you'll be hearing from them tomorrow.
As far as the PCM exchange. Here's what I did. I unbolted mine and looked at the numbers on the sticker on the back of it. I went on Ebay and bought the exact same one for $99. Once the Diablo ECM arrived, I removed my original, put it away for safe keeping. I then put the Ebay one in return box...
Where are you getting that a tuner and a PCM swap is $1500? I just did this last week. The difference was fricken AMAZING. Like, it actually scared me a little when I went to get on the expressway today and I was doing 92mph like RIGHT NOW. $499.00 from Moe's for tuner and Unlocked PCM swap...
Can AlphaOBD change the mileage in the PCM to match the cluster? (I looked on YouTube and only saw people doing it the other way around.)
I'm in the process of doing the Diablosport PCM cross swap. They asked me for my VIN and software number on my factory PCM.... but they didn't ask me my...
