    I did the gas cap, purge solenoid, vent valve, and just got done with a smoke test that showed no leaks. Final attempt is replacing the fuel pump this weekend.

    You'll be pumping fluid in while it's pouring back out. Not gonna work. This job is barely harder than changing your oil if you have the ability to jack the rear high enough. I invested in some 6 ton big red jack stands and that did the trick for me.

    Yes, you will transfer the bolt sleeves to the PPE pan. The PPE is deeper and holds a quart more they claim. I had to unbolt and jack my trans to clear the install of the new pan. You’ll know by how easy the old one slips out if you’re going to need space.

    I recently replaced mine just shy of 132k miles. Driver's side was making noise when turning right. Couldn't feel anything and was quiet when going straight. My truck is 4wd so a little more time consuming but finished in a day.
