Do you have photos on how you mounted the two spots next to your tow hitch? I've been contemplating the same idea to provide better rear lighting. Thanks in advance
I'm in the process of installing some auxiliary lights and I was able to bring the toggle switch cable into the cabin thru a hole on the driver side (see pictures). I still dont know how I'm going to reseal it. As you can see, the rubber seal was pushed to the side for the wiring.
How are you...
Next mods on the list are head and taillights. I have the 19 Ram 1500 Classic. I'm open for suggestions, swap with projectors or convert my reflectors or swap out bulbs. Main goal is to improve visibility at night.
i probably drove the truck for approximately 80 miles and my light was still on. where does it say that the truck is self learning? if your 2015 have it then i feel like my 2019 should have it too (then again im not sure).
my new set came with the aftermarket tpms and the tire shop couldnt read them. my suggestion should be your last resort if you cant get the aftermarket tpms to work.
i think there's a possibility of minor rubbing at full lock or when youre backing out of your driveway. I have -12mm offset rubbed at 2.1 until I decided to tighten up the inner fender liners (heat gun and zip ties). The minor rub shouldnt be a deal breaker IMO
That must have been very frustrating. By the sound of the manager on the phone, he seems to be willing to correct their mistakes. I just hope they really don't charge me for it.
I'm bringing it back in on Monday. It was self explanatory for them when they saw my photos and some of the photos from the link you guys provided me (thanks for that!).
If it helps anyone, here's the labeled photo that I sent to the shop in case anyone ever needs it.
Here's my truck when I picked it up with 1.5 readylift in the rear and 35x12.5. I was surprised to see this much rake even when I had a set of wheels in the bed. I expected it to be close to leveled with the added weights in the back.
damn. do you have some photos? I'd like to email it to the shop hoping they do the right thing and fix it.
Also, I know a lot of people run 2.8...could you please post your pics? That would really help a lot
