    Core 4x4 and Hellwig

Just to chime in on this, I have the a full Core 4x4 setup on my rear end, and the back end of the truck us super solid. There's no walking while driving offroad and on washboard. There is just one road condition that I encounter that makes the rear end skip sideways just a hair...or that is my...

    Nitto Grappler Ridge Tire Pressure

I'm running the 35" x 11.5" Ridge Grapplers and run the stock tire pressure in the winter. When it warms up again, I'll drop 3psi to 36psi all around.

    New Running Boards

Just ordered these Havoc running boards. Can't wait to mount them up. https://havocoffroad.com/p/havoc-hst-black-running-boards/v/ram/truck-1500/2017/

    Bed Utility Rail System

OK, I just ordered the 48" kit from RealTruck. It's the same stuff and comes in black. I'd like to also get a single 48" stick of the track to install along the front of the bed, behind the cab.

    Bed Utility Rail System

Anyone without Ramboxes have the factory rail system? https://moparonlineparts.com/1500-utility-rails-p-4932.html I was thinking about installing L-track from US Cargo and found the Mopar version I linked to above. Here's the L-track...

    Rear Tack Bar?

My 1.5" lift in the rear shifted .6". I couldn't tell by eye; but once I measured it, it could see it every time I looked at the back of the truck, lol. I had to readjust the the Core track bar and get it centered.

    Upper control arms

Those are really nice. I just installed Zones; but those JBA UCAs are only $40 more. Wish I would have seen them first.

First Blast with the Foam Cannon

Hmm...My shop vac has a pretty large diameter hose that would probably fit inside the blower tube. Maybe cutting the blower tube down to a few inches, cutting a slot into the new short tube, inserting the shop vac hose with weather stripping around it and hose clamping around the short tube?

First Blast with the Foam Cannon

We might still have an electric leaf blower. I'll give it a try this weekend.

First Blast with the Foam Cannon

I did a real wash over the weekend. I'm sold on the foam cannon. I washed the Jeep and the Ram easily and quickly. Drying took twice as long. One note, my ancient Absorber that I dry with is pretty much crap. What is the best way to dry a vehicle?

    Idle Hours?

Is there a good ratio range of idle/drive hrs? Mine states: Idle = 194 Driving = 1,050 Total = 1,244 That's 18.4% idle time; which is a direct result of driving through the neighborhood, dropping my boy off at school and going to work; doing the reverse to go home. Every weekday. I wonder if I...

Better flowing intake for 5.7 w/Ecodiesel lower airbox

I haven't noticed any fuel economy improvement around town or any louder engine/exhaust noise. I have yet to get the truck out on the interstate, though.

Better flowing intake for 5.7 w/Ecodiesel lower airbox

I don't know the answer; but I imagine it would be the same reason that K&N and other free-flowing air filters claim more power and better mpg.

Driver's Side Lean or Suspension Height Inequality

I just remeasured mine and they measure 2 7/8” from the bottom thread to the lock ring. Weird we have three different measurements.

Driver's Side Lean or Suspension Height Inequality

Wow, that's a big difference. Are these for the same application? Gen 4 ram 1500?

Driver's Side Lean or Suspension Height Inequality

MIke, can you measure those 2.0 coilovers from the bottom thread to the bottom of the lock ring under the spring seat?

Driver's Side Lean or Suspension Height Inequality

That's pretty much what they told me as well; but I was asking about increasing preload to raise the lifted height.

Driver's Side Lean or Suspension Height Inequality

I have the 26 gallon fuel tank. Each time I've measured, the tank has been almost full. I haven't had an empty tank yet. I am interested in seeing if the measurements are different with an empty tank, though.

Driver's Side Lean or Suspension Height Inequality

One thing I read on the forum was something about loosening the mounting hardware completely on the sway bar and end links, then retightening them. It seemed to make a difference for the user that did it. I think that is what it was; but can't seem to find the post anymore.

Driver's Side Lean or Suspension Height Inequality

I'm going to order that spring compressor. It looks like it might fit the 2.0's tight coils. Also going to wait a while before adjusting the coilover. They're supposed to be 2.0" of lift and I'm at 2.625" on driver's side; which is the lower side. Probably what I'll end up doing, once I think...

First Blast with the Foam Cannon

Typically, I would wash with a micro-fiber mit or sponge. I wanted to test out the foam cannon just to see how/if it worked. If this darn hurricane will ever start moving up the coast, I'll give the truck a good wash.

Took a long time, but finally installed.

Cool. Thanks. I’ll look at that compressor.

I finally got around to measuring from the bottom thread to the collar underneath the spring seat....and they’re exactly the same. :(
