New shorty headers on the market, I think.
I just received mine. They look good. Looks like quality stainless steel. The welds are as good if not better than the BBKs I’m replacing. They will go on when my new engine goes in. I ordered OEM gaskets and arp bolts.- Bluto

Just to throw some cold water on the warm and fuzzy party.... I shut off MDS about three years ago. I don’t allow my truck to idle anymore than using remote start 5 minutes before I drive. Change the oil with movie one every 5k or if the warning comes on (which ever comes first). 186,000 miles...- Bluto

Fixing exhaust manifold bolts under warranty
I did the ceramic because I plan to keep the truck a long time. It also lowers the header temps a little. And if you saw how your coolant lines and other stuff run really close to the headers you may want to consider ceramic. Pay to fix the exaust manifold leak or try headers?
Seems to be a hot topic these days. Well if you are out of warranty or Chrysler won't cover you because your truck was born in Canada like mine. I went with ceramic coated BBK shorties. I had the same line of thinking as you. I went with BBK ceramic coated headers. They are just a little more money but have a great reputation. BBK Ceramic Coated Shorty Headers 2009-2014 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD 5.7L Hemi I did those headers, OEM gaskets, Stage 8 locking header bolts.- Bluto

Manifold bolts
Its the bad manifold design that warps and stresses the bolts. New bolts are also on borrowed time. I decided I never wanted to deal with again and went with ceramic coasted BBK shorties and all new Stage 8 Locking header bolts. Its been almost year and no issues.- Bluto
