    Extended Travel CV Axles

Maybe I did take the time to look at that thread and what info is there that tells me everything? That thread is a guy with a 4 inch RC lift and a dropped diff and then post about a Jeep. while we are having similar issues with the popping, I am only leveled with Bilsteins and wondering if...

    Extended Travel CV Axles

I have seen people say that but I am not trying to spend too much money honestly. My truck is a 2011 with 180K, and rusting so not really worth a ton. Just need something affordable to get by and not pop every time I back up/turn or wear my tires out quickly. Are the heavy duty Cardones a better...

    Extended Travel CV Axles

Good Afternoon, Have a 2011 Ram 1500 leveled with Bilstein's. Have heard extended travel CVs mentioned before when leveling and should have already looked into putting those on as I have chewed through a couple sets of CV Axles. Have also heard people mention heavy duty axles. Looking to...

What aftermarket U-Joints did you all go with?

Thank you, don't mind spending a little more for a better quality one and as mentioned above, looking like I want to go with the non-greaseable since if I am being honest with myself, I probably won't ever grease them.

What aftermarket U-Joints did you all go with?

Yea, I have used a lot of Moog parts as well and never had an issue. I guess more so than brand, my main question would be do I spring for the heavy duty ones on Rockauto since they are basically the same price. Assuming the heavy duty one will be slightly more durbable, does it perform better...

What aftermarket U-Joints did you all go with?

I am replacing both front and rear which appears to be the same part # for both. Nothing specific, just a DD that doesn't do much towing or off-roading. Yea, I was looking at the Spicer since I hear good things about Dana when it comes to drivetrain and differential stuff. May go with that, a...

What aftermarket U-Joints did you all go with?

Hello everyone, Looking to replace my U-Joints on a 2011 Ram 1500. Curious what everyone here ended up using. Looking on Rockauto and they have a lot of options. Seems like the Moog 331 is the common one and I will probably go with that. My question would be, do people prefer the Moog or Dana...

    Front U joint replacement 2015 ram 4x4

Jumping on this thread instead of making my own. Looking to replace my U-Joints on a 2011 Ram 1500. Curious what you ended up going with OP? Looking on Rockauto and they have a lot of options. I see the Moog 331 that is listed above and will probably go with that. My question would be, do...

    Poll best TRUCK tire?

Looking at getting new tires and was looking at the Cooper Discover AT3 XLT. I see them mentioned as tires made for towing and a lot of guys with 2500's put them on there. Are they pretty heavy? Should they be avoided with a 1500 that isn't going to tow that much? Was also looking at the AT3 4s...

@DILLIGAF did you buy new bolts for your control arms or did they come with them? I think I have one that is seized and was looking into buying all new bolts.

Mevotech vs Moog UCA? Coil spring question as well.

Appreciate that, I may check in with him, I did look at the eibach and know Zones are the best but it also adds $800-$1000 which could be used towards wheels and tires. Maybe if I wasn't replacing all my other suspension parts. Also, if I am being honest, not sure my truck deserves it lol.

Mevotech vs Moog UCA? Coil spring question as well.

Hello Everyone, I know these are talked about all the time but wanted to make my own thread to compare two specific UCA's. I have a 2011 Ram 1500 with 137K on it and am planning on replacing a majority of the suspension parts including adding Bilsteins to level. I am looking at using mostly...

Suspension question: Control arm and camber bolt question?

Hello everyone. Have a quick question; Not that long ago, I took my truck into the shop to have Bilstein 5100's installed on my 2011 1500 and they told me they weren't able to do it because the bolts on my my lower control arm was seized(Truck is from a good amount of snow so I'm not...

2011 Ram 1500 broken storage handles under rear seats.

Hello everyone, Both of the handles on the rear storage compartments have broke. The big compartment is shut and I can't get it open, the smaller one is open and won't latch shut but I am able to just put the seat down to close it. Looks like the latches are about $50 a piece which is pretty...

Decided to go with Premium Line-X. Getting it done this week. Like the UV protection to hopefully reduce the fade over time.

Heated leather steering wheel fading, Anything I can do?

Have a 2011 Ram 1500. My heated leather steering wheel is starting to fade on the top half. Was just curious if there are any products out there that I can put on to slow down the fading or help restore the leather a little bit? Any assistance is appreciated.

Thoughts or experiences with the Alpine ILX-W650 or Pioneer DMH-2660NEX(Pics if possible)

Looking to upgrade my head unit in my 2011 Ram 1500. I have been looking at some head units but think I have narrowed it down to these two. I was thinking about going wireless carplay but decided plugging it in is fine and keeps my phone charged. I have seen a couple threads on the ILX-W650 and...

Line-X vs Ameragaurd Bed Liner Opinions

Hello Everyone, Looking to get a bed liner done soon and was wondering if anyone has thoughts on Ameragaurd vs Line-x. I know Line-X is the more popular choice and I had it on a previous truck with good results but the Ameragaurd shop down the street is $100 cheaper and the bed liner doesn't...

Last minute/long shot, have two bolts left over after putting timing cover and water pump on.

I believe I’m good on the water pump, luckily I remembered where the long ones went and the others matched up with the threads. That’s a good picture though that actually shows the bolts on the side. I’m pretty sure I have all of the timing cover bolts on but will have to go over it all again. I...

Last minute/long shot, have two bolts left over after putting timing cover and water pump on.

Hello everyone, This is clearly a long shot but putting back together my engine and had these bolts leftover once I put back on my timing cover, water pump, AC compressor, power steering, and alternator. These were in my bag with all the timing/water pump bolts(I should of marked on the actual...

Quick Non-MDS lifter question(making sure I got the right ones)

Hey everyone, I just bought 4 sets of lifters with the yokes that after some research, I assumed were the ones for switching over to Non-MDS. I received them and they all have the same part # but two of them say "Rear MDS" on the yokes. Also those have two of the lifters with the holes on the...
