    Removing 5th wheel hitch

I did this for 12 years on my old trailer. I'd store it that way during the off season too. New trailer I haven't done it yet but that's mostly because of lack of need. Kids are older now so I have help getting hitch in/out of truck. I think you should make your own decision. Is it the correct...

    Anyone used these kicker speakers?

Like I say...overall I'm really happy with them. I think it says alot how decent the stockers are really. Without the subs I think a more noticeable difference would've been there just doing the speakers. I'm also debating an amp for those door speakers at some point. I'll keep it like this...

    Anyone used these kicker speakers?

Put speakers in this evening. Truck rocks. Not sure I notice $150 difference though....I felt like it sounded good before. I do notice it stays crisp a little further up on the volume dial. Overall I'm very happy with the stereo....IMO the twin 100 watt bazooka tubes make the whole thing.

    Anyone used these kicker speakers?

I'm really curious to see if I find factory speakers behind the doors......it sounds pretty dang good the way it sits. Truck was originally owned by an older fellow that kept it pretty much bone stock. I can't see him doing the speakers but if those are stockers they're some decent sounding...

    Anyone used these kicker speakers?

I wasn't even aware of the Mopar ones until after I ordered these. They're also quite a bit more expensive from what I saw for what I assume is basically the same speaker.

    Anyone used these kicker speakers?

I was wondering if those would drop in. I read 2 3/4" of depth and these say they're 3 1/8". Not a big deal if I have to space them...just wasn't sure if I needed to make some spacers prior to starting vs having to stop during the install and make them.

    Anyone used these kicker speakers?

For my 06 mega. Swapping out the stockers and wondering if anyone is running these and how they like them? https://www.ebay.com/itm/283810190593

    Infinity basslink powered 8" subwoofer

I run 2 bazookas in mine. Both are 100 watt 6". Love them. I'm not one to sit and critique sound....I just know mine sounds good enough for me. Plenty of base. I don't listen to bump bump stuff anyhow...I just wanted something to fill in the lows. They do the trick.

    Getting the right tire/wheel look?

Still trying to figure this out. Thinking about a 33x12.5 tire and looking to put it on a 17x10 -24 wheel. That should space it out about 3" from stock. Not sure if that's too much though and if I'll need to level for that.

    Getting the right tire/wheel look?

A 305 tire is 1.58" wider than a 265 tire so that would be about 3/4" both directions. So would that mean the total would be about 2" towards the outside?

    Getting the right tire/wheel look?

I seem to always miss the look I'm going for. I understand how offsets and back spacing works. What I guess I don't understand is how to buy them to get the look I want. Missed on 2 sets of wheels on my Duramax so on this truck I'm going to try it again. Maybe I'm asking the wheels and tires to...

    son heading home towing camper

Probably figured it out by now but sounds like his bypass valves were still turned for winterizing. Probably 2 valves....one to switch from short hose that you draw antifreeze from to the water tank and another that bypasses the hot water heater. If he was plugged into shore power and ac didn't...

breaking & also feeling ABS kick in for a split second?

Everytime I've ever ran into this (albeit not on rams) it's a front wheel speed sensor. Whichever way the steering wheel pulls it'll be the opposite side sensor. Also worth mentioning it's always been the reluctor in the hub when I've ran into it. Pull the abs fuse and see if it goes away....I...

    Tire age??

They're only required to put it on one side of the tire so it may be on the inside. The POS firestones on my truck are all on the inside.

    Kayaks

We got my son a 10' for his bday. I've just been putting it in the back to carry him to the lake and drop him off. On trips we'll carry it in the 5th wheel which isn't ideal but I'm not putting it on the back bumper where I cant see it.

    Tire Air Pressure 6.4L 2500HD

You'll probably get many different answers. I can just tell you what I've for the last decade. I air down to 50 for daily driving then air up to 70 when towing. That's just how I've always done it and I get excellent wear on my tires. I also rotate religiously.
