So I took a couple of pics but not sure what clocked different means? But from what I can tell they are clocked the same.
I have had it on leveled ground.
Still looks like the pic above. Despite measurements in 4 corners being the same. Doesn’t make sense.
Yes wheels are straight. Gas tank currently about 3/4 full and according to the tape measure it’s dead nuts level. The eye tells me something different.
Thanks for the response. I followed your post on this closely, but as I understand your truck is a 2500 solid axle. Mine is a 1500 and is not a solid axle truck and is independent coil suspension.
update. The dealer put a 1/2” spacer on top of the strut tower on the front driver side. Now if you go around and measure from the top of the fender to the top of the wheel well it is dead level. Down to the millimeter. I have measured several times and always same results. It still looks...
Spacer is probably the way to go. Not sure if having a stiffer ride in one corner would be wise. Looks like I will see what the dealership comes up with. Then if nothing else I will pick it up and add the spacer to driver rear. Do you remember the brand for the spacer you used? Thanks for the help!
What about adding Air Bags to the rear? Will this allow to adjustment to fix the sag / lean? Maybe I will see if I can work a deal to have them installed?
I believe this is what hodge-xj is suggesting. It also seems to be what the product is marketed for. Although for now I waiting for the dealership. Supposedly they are contacting FCA for advise. I basically told them that if they didn't have a solution then I was going to proceed with a claim to...
Here is a pic of the trunk. I have been checking every 1500 I see on the road. I do see a few with a lean, but I see more without it. At least not noticeable with the naked eye. Here is a pic of the trunk as it sits. I will admit it looks more drastic in person.
I have seen a 1/2" spacer...
I recently bought a 1500 certified used (dealer demo) and it has a substantial driver lean. I have measured from the top of the fender to the top of the rim. The driver rear is 1/2" lower then the passenger side. There is a 1/4" difference in the front two sides. I know the fuel tank is on the...
Hello all. I recently purchased a 2018 certified used Ram 1500 4x4 from Larry Miller in Peoria AZ and It is leaning toward the driver side. I took it back to Larry Miller to have a brake controller installed and asked them to adjust the alignment because of the lean. It has been sitting there...
