I’m passed 40k and basic 3 year warranty is gone. Is the power train warranty available until 100000 miles. What does this cover? Cam or manifold leak?
2500 has coil springs in the rear. The 3500 has leaf springs. Which are better for towing heavy. I believe they have the same axle unless you have a drw
You can always rebuild the 68rfe. Not saying you should have to on a new truck. But if you tune it and rebuild it properly it will hold up with a tuner.
When I went to dealer I had him bring me the window sticker off the trucks I liked. I sat there and looked up each truck in the fca vin look up for a build sheet. I matched them to verify the options I wanted were present. Salesman thought I was weird. I got what I wanted is all that mattered.
I don’t think so. Both on the hemi I believe. Either way I’d be pissed they didn’t even get close to fixing it spending that kind of money. Dealer isn’t a cheap mechanic that’s for sure.
When mds is active doesn’t the remaining 4 cylinders actually work harder? I thought more fuel and air was added to help the truck along. Mds is garbage if you ask me. I drive all highway at 80-85 daily. Mds gave me less mpg than running 8 cylinders. Hand calculated
Dang that’s tough. My dealer bugged the hell out of me to get the work done ASAP. I was the one dragging my feet. Maybe find a new dealer who will help you
