It wouldn’t be a dead battery issue as it wouldn’t magically get better by the 2nd or 3rd turn of the key. As mentioned it’s likely a battery connection issue.
It’s a 21 Sierra crew 4x4. Pretty light on options. Nice to put the $36k CAD in my bank though. My prediction is in a couple of years my boss (/buddy/business partner) will lease another new one and I’ll get the chance to pay a bit out of pocket and get some luxuries again.
I’m also thinking...
I watched it drive away one last time as it’s sold to a broker and down the the good ol’ USA.
Thanks everyone for your help getting me dialled in. This was a great place to get advice.
Enjoy your trucks and have a great life!
Peace out!
This was a huge week for the Storm. Found out I’m getting a company truck so I’m going to put it up for sale :’(
The used market here is very high, so I’ll get back what I paid for it 2.5 years ago, but the many thousands in modifications will vanish… WORTH IT!
New ride will be a GMC Sierra...
I ran over something and got a full flat today.
swapped rims and went to look for the culprit. (Hoping for a just nail in the tread)
found out it was this…
is is possible to do a patch on the inside and a some sort of filler to keep this tire alive for another summer or two?
Lots of tread left
The wider nitto’s. More aggressive tread pattern, wider gives a better stance, and the larger overall diameter will reduce wheel well gap which is the reason lowered vehicles look so good!
Rim size doesn’t mean anything. It’s the overall tire size that can change things. I have 24’s with the exact same 33” overall diameter as stock 20’s.
Extra wide rims and not knowing offsets can get you in trouble.
I have the same size tires as you are getting. They’re a pretty comfy ride and are 1000x better then the stock POS Goodyears.
I’m still waiting to do the 2/4 drop. It will look so good!
Post pics when done please :)
The 10 mm wider tires will be negligible in terms of poking out. That’s 5mm more overhang on the inside and 5mm on the outside. If the wheel offset is the same they will only stick out 5mm more than stock.
More importantly is the offset of the wheel he chooses. Lower offset will stick out...
