2014 2500 6.7 - just broke 40,000 miles. Still a baby - father in law kept it in a garage and drove it around once a month. Runs better than before with driving a fair share of miles a day.
Other than regular oil changes/fuel filter changes and recalls - nothing wrong and still brand new...

2017 Toyota Tundra DC
I LOVED my 2007 Tundra. That was the most customized vehicle I drove and spent a ton of money on it but unfortunately I had to trade it in and bought the 2017. HATED the 2017.
LOVE my 2014 2500 now and have been...
I have had that happen on my 2500 - I did the reset a few times and once I drove it around a bit and it finally refreshed. Might just be slow to reset?
What's interesting to me is I have ran both the Ridge Grapplers and the M/T's from Nitto. These were on my previous trucks but I loved the M/T's. Their wear was incredible (rotated every 3k) and I never had issues with snow, ice, rain traction. I know M/T's aren't supposed to be the best but I...
Completely agree with you. The lumbar support helps and I guess having good posture is a good thing? Who knew...at my height I have to think about good posture just because I find myself leaning over or hunching to talk to people.
The shark fine almost makes me lose clearance pulling into the...
I wish the 4th Gens had this...I am at the age though where leaning all the way back actually hurts my back :( I've had to do that most of the vehicles I've owned haha
I am 6'9 and drive a 2014 2500 Laramie. Legroom was ultimately what I was after and I feel like I have plenty of legroom in the 2500. Headroom leaves something to be desired but again, a 6'9 person is not building this truck to their spec lol.
My hair sometimes hits the roof in normal driving...
I wouldn't mind upgrading to just the 17.x because it's nice to have a newer version and I will absolutely keep an eye on that post once someone can provide it. Until then, I will keep it as is! I was afraid I had bricked it, but luckily it went back to factory settings on the unit and all was...
That makes a ton more sense. I could not find a download in the post for '14 so I used '13 thinking it might be the same. Thanks for the clarification! The radio works just fine and no use in screwing with it until I find the download and can do it properly. Love how they took down the old...
Well I attempted this update and went through the correct steps/downloads. Entered my vin in and it said I have the update as well. However, my 2014 is running an old version - 15.26.1 - on Uconnect. When I go in to update to the 17.x ra3 it says I have the incorrect software.
The PDF on the...
Here’s a closer view of the cutout. The bumper sticks out more than the tailgate but I’m going to have to put a piece of foam where the tailgate meets the wall to keep from damaging anything.

Ended up having to cut out the studs and add a beam to give me a bit more clearance to fit.
What I did not realize is the fin on the tailgate sticks out and should have raised the beam higher than the tailgate but it fits with about a 1/2” to spare!

I am not going through the exact situation, but I have had a few issues with Uconnect connecting online(app remote start, etc). We have gone through the updates/soft resets and all of that junk. Uconnect cannot activate the radio and I have been told that my radio/vin is not recognized by them...
I bought a cheap $25.00 android phone from Walmart that is all black so it would not stick as much as other phones. Runs the new version of android and works great. Could not beat $25.00.
It was able to program everything I wanted (drl, tpms, tire size, etc) with no issues as well.
I agree with this - but again as you put it - you get used to it. This is pretty close to what I can see on other car's back windows when driving behind them but the tint on my truck does not interfere at all:
ps - got this pic off google search so not my own picture
I had this issue with polarized sunglasses on my Tundra and thought that would be the same with my Uconnect 3C 8.4 on my 2014 so I am not sure if the 8.4 has changed to the new 2019. No issues whatsoever though. I have two pairs of polarized sunglasses (different tones) and both of them I can...
Thanks again everyone! It turned out to be the sway bar links so I ordered replacements. I am going with 5100's in the front so I will be replacing it all once, when they come in.
All of the suggestions helped and now I have peace of mind that at least everything else been tightened and...
Awesome, thank you for the replies. I’ll have it apart this weekend and will report back.
Oddly enough it’s been around 60 degrees today and not once did I have the pop feel. The past week it’s been below 40 degrees.

Hi all - newer ram owner of a 2014 2500 Cummins here and while I have a general idea of what to look for, I was hoping to get a few suggestions before the long weekend so I can check everything out!
I've searched the forums and found a few items pertaining to this but the other day I hit a...
Not to jack this thread but here's my opinion on the new Tundra's if this helps any - I just got rid of my '17 Tundra SR5 - previously owned a 2007 SR5. LOVED my 2007 but strongly disliked the '17. While there are not many electrical components in the newer Tundra's, the electrical components in...
I have blacked out my last two trucks (tundras). At some point in the past two years, I have been more into the stock look of trucks (still like it leveled with some beefier A/Ts or M/Ts). I have a white 2500 and the chrome/white contrast is growing on me.
So while I like the blacked out...
On my Tundra I had 34's - Nitto M/T's - rotated them every 3,000 miles. I got 60k out of those and they still had life left until a bolt ruined a tire. I went with the Nitto A/T's and rotated them at the same interval. The M/T's seemed to last a lot longer than the A/T's but rule of thumb...
