Orange as well for me. Unless it's an all black truck like mine...then black...unless its more of a flat color (like my previous Ram), then the chrome (but I'm also old).
Had my PC on my 2018 2500 for 5 yrs with no issues. Took it off when I traded it...installed it on the new 2023 the day after it came home...(knocking on wood), no issues.
+1 for using the locator button on the website. That's how I found my 2023 2500 Mega Cab. I could find 100s nationwide with diesels; only found 17 that met my needs, and only 4 that checked every box. One in TX was sold the day after I called and started working my deal with getting it...
I sold mine to a co-worker for $500 before I had 100 miles on them. Switched to Nittos. I've been running Nittos or BFGs for probably 15 years or more.
Thanks. I just revisited my App (hadn't used it since I bought the truck in Sep). No "Remote Start" listed. I use the key fob all the time to start it, but usually doesn't run for more than a minute before I'm in it and moving.
I have the MX4, it's my first tonneau so I can't offer anything on the differences, but it's been trouble free and waterproof thus far. Easy installation by one person.
I've been using Nittos for years in my 2500s with no complaints. Usually get around 50k out of them. Rotate them every oil change. I've had BFGs (during COVID, when I couldn't get Nittos) and didn't have any issues with them either, but prefer the Nittos.
I had them on my 2018. After about 2 years one of the brackets broke (PS) and it hung at an angle when "swung out." Before I traded it in for my current 2023 I had removed them both and filled the holes with JB Weld...that with a touch of a sharpee and it was invisible. If you have too much...
Just out of curiosity did you look at the process to replace the bulbs? Not sure on the 2023 (yet), but on my 2018 I had to go through an access door in front of the tire. Very weird process coming from previous GMCs when I used to just reach behind the headlight assembly.
I have a 2023 Laramie with the heated and cooled ventilated seats. Haven't noticed them NOT heating up quickly and needing to be turned off, but "cold" in the south is a relative thing.
