I asked about the longer dipstick last week when I bought my '22 and the parts manager said they are due to be released to the dealers "soon" and I should get one in late June or early July, Pensacola area.
I am new to Diesel ownership! I have always done my P.M. and repairs if I have the KSA and equipment. I am somewhat familiar with modern Diesel emission systems and terms. Is there a good reference of the needs specific to the '22 6.7 that can be C/W without a scan tool and CTD/ Mopar...
I too am new to owning a diesel. I just bought a new '22 2500 Tradesman 4x4 with some add ons. I'm getting ready to just google some of my questions...
I put a deposit on a new '22 2500 diesel a couple of weeks ago. I was told yesterday the fix should be out on the 20th of this month. I'm ready to get some miles on it so I can try it out on my travel trailer!
I have 3 stock aluminum Power Wagon wheels all black with center caps. Good condition, came off a 2020 with 5K miles. 17" X 8", no TPMS. $125 each will sell one or all. Local pick up in NW FL area, I live in Navarre.
The first time I had a load in my '18 PW I thought mine had excessive "waddle".
A little more air in the tires may have helped. I did the math and had a little over 2000 pounds of block in it...
I'm getting close for new rubber myself, I re-shoed my earlier RAM 1500 with Nitto Trail Grapplers of a near stock size they were great overall and lasted till I traded for the PW. I'm looking at Nitto for my '18 PW with an increase in size that will still fit in the spare rack
I went from a '14 RAM1500 to an '18 PW and experienced the same. kinda reminded me of my first truck, '63 Ford F-100... Same color come to think of it... Love the PW LOTS MORE POWER!!!!
Mine has 35K , at last rotation I found play in the left side unloaded, at 6 and 12. I could tell it is in the ball joints not the wheel bearings. I don't have a dial indicator now but plan to get one and check it next rotation. I looked at the specs but don't remember tolerances- it was alot...
I had a pipe made to replace the muffler and left the resonator in tact. "looks" stock from the outside, sounds alot better. Under hard acceleration it will pop a bit, not an issue with me in NW FL as it is pretty flat and my boat is not that heavy. I never noticed the flapper or anything else...
Mobile 1 or Valvoline are available at WM, I've run both with lower consumption than PUP. Gonna try PUP this next change to see if there has been any change...
I plan to replace mine at 50K, just to ensure adequate amounts of anti seize. I had the 30K 5.7 Hemi's too. On the trucks I pulled the coils and plugs from front to back then installed in reverse. Seemed to give me more room to work around vacuum booster on the left and A/C doins on the right
The pitman arm will be higher increasing the angle of the drag link from the stock configuration. This may increase the possibility of a death wobble as other components wear and larger tires are added along with wheels with more negative offset. I have not looked for for a "dropped" Pittman...
