Don't switch it if you have a warranty. I just flat out wouldn't do it. Just like you said. If you need warranty work done it would be better to know for a fact they will fix it vs nervously waiting for a call saying hey we found your pcm has been swapped.
Just my opinion though. Better safe...
Did this fix your code? Just got the same code today, and this is gonna be my first thing to replace. Got under the truck and it's easy to see against the filler neck.
Super easy job! Same thing happened to me. Both nozzles broke apart one day. My only regret is not getting Mopar nozzles.. My washer sprays pretty well over my windshield and off the sides and they're non adjustable... But oh well. Give me a reason to go through the wash every so often.
Edge pulsar doesn't support custom tuning. It's basically a glorified pedal commander that turns off mds. Personally I would buy either the Diablo i3 or the trinity and go with flyin Ryan performance. The hemifever combo will still be good and I bet you would be happy but tuners are more of a...
Same here both mine broke. I bought doorman ones but sadly they like over spray onto the roof of my truck and don't adjust. I would like to have got the Mopar ones since the washer will hit the windshield right. But hey like $5-$10 sadly can't be beat of they still work.
So quick back story and quick question. My truck came with the Canada package so it has DRLs. They are the high beams turned on at a lower voltage is all. But that essentially stops the ability of me having high beam LEDs (already replaced low beams) since it would just simply turn on the LED...
It's very possible it didn't load correctly. As well have you updated the tuner itself? I personally would reload the tune. Update the tuner reload again. If those don't work I would get with Diablo sport and they can see a lot more than what we can. I want to say custom tune but that's some...
So this may be a dumb question. I'm not too technically inclined. I don't hear a noticeable tick. I belive it's just lifter noise. But how would I figure out if I do have a leak? Good Ole soapy water? Tug on em and see if theres any play?
100% correct here. Time especially in my case.
Ahh I didn't mention I have 4x4 so these are the rear arms. That's 4 bolts per side and a little fighting the arm and drivetrain to get back in. After seeing that I'll come up with the time somewhere to get my tools and jack lol
I remember getting a water pump and idler pull replaced on my 3rd Gen Dakota for $400 or so. Of course different shop different truck, but still. That's with parts and coolant.
It was 1.5 hours per side at 120 and hour. 180 total per side after tax was close to $400. Maybe it's because I've gotten good deals in the past maybe with other shops.
So this is more of a rant than anything. Got some money. Didn't know what to spend it on. Decided core 4x4 upper and lower arms. Ain't got my tools or jack at my new place yet. Called a shop that's supposed to specialize in lift kits and what not. Ask how much for labor. $350........ After a...
Ran 87 canned on my 3rd Gen Dakota for the few years. No issues until I tried to set some shift points and thought I bricked my pcm.. But no issues with definite increase in performance.
So even in a stock motor you would recommend his 84mm bored TB? I've been told that doing something like that takes away from low end torque and doesn't maximize the power it can gain because its too much air?
Does anyone know where I can get quality bored TBs at? I see Fastman has been closed...
So I either plan on buying a TB from fastman or sending mine in to be bored. From everyone who bought one. Did you sell your stock TB or just keep it laying around? To be honest I'll probably keep the truck forever. So idk if there's even a reason to keep the stock one.
So we recently moved. I start putting the car seat back in and overall cleaning the trash out and what do I see? A screw in my back tire... 2 days before Christmas great.. I noticed the tire wasn't flat. My tpms wasn't on (still at 39 psi) . The screw was definitely in there. I grabbed it with...
Have you thought about remote tuning? Flyin Ryan Performance / Hemi Fever? I'm no expert at all but I would think they would see more of the hemi platform than a local shop would.
Thanks! Since I have individual tunes for each octane I did notice a difference in performance but not enough to cry about. But I have noticed a mgp increase aswell!! So yeah I'll be running 87 for a while save some money. Not red line so much. Good news is there's a shell 2 minutes down the...
No kidding on the performance lol put the 87 tune on and the wife filled her up. She said it was a noticeable difference "not as beastly" was her exact words lol I drove it later in the day yesterday and definitely noticeable less performance. Not horrible but definitely interesting it's that...
