There are multiple stories like yours in this thread and it seems Phoenix will never change. I bought a 10.4" PX3 Tesla unit from them over a year ago. I knew buying from their china stock will take at least a month by reading other members. I was lucky enough to get a refurb unit they had here...
Phoenix has Tesla Style units for 09-12 Rams
Here is someone who shared a complete installation tutorial on YouTube

Did you buy your radio from Rhino?. I saw your harness/CAN pics and noticed these are exactly the same as the ones they came with the radio I bought from them last year. I also have the 4 speed fan RAM truck and had the same issue with the AC not working at all or when it decided to work, air...
The only ones compatible with your truck might be the new Tesla style radios from Phoenix

So they can refurbished and sell it for at least $400o_O. For me, it has worked better to call them and ask to speak with the manager - I dial in to the sales department intead of support. They will put you on hold for a while, but eventually the "manager" will pick up.
My 2 previous PX3 units (3 button) didn't have any issues even with the polar vortex [emoji23] ( - 11C) last winter, but since both were defective I guess that's why they worked.

Ok, thank you. The thing is that I cannot even turn on the heat since the on/off button doesn't respond. I will try to leave it on tonight and see if tomorrow - will be in the 20s - to warm up the truck.

It works until I do multiple resets and turn off the truck...open the door and wait for a minute or two for complete power shut down.
It has been cold/below freezing in the last month and it is quite of odd it didn't happen before.

Hey guys, after 6+ months with my PX3 unit working flawlessly it is starting to show some signs that something isn't ok. In the last 2 days and with temperatures below freezing here in Virginia, the touchscreen is unresponsive overall when I coldstart my truck in the morning - literally nothing...
haha..6 grand..I better put down that money for another truck.. I'm starting to realize I made a really bad decision buying a RAM..coming from Toyota. Anyways, I hope I get lucky and this can be a cheaper fix.

Well not this one, I tried that and the dealer also did the same thing. They took apart the whole engine and said there was a leak in the intake and also a valve not sitting. They replaced the intake and exhaust valve and I didn't have another misfire for almost 10 months and after it came back...
Haha, yeap. It took me 3 units to get one that actually works. Now I'm dealing with a stupid misfire from my RAM - I'm starting to hate my truck overall TBH
Phoenix keeps adding new radios..only if they didn't suck with their customer service these guys will be the place to go. However, this unit looks interesting as my past issues have been mainly with AC controllers but it seems you keep your OEM ones with this 12.1 inch radio...
I wished I had your same luck with Rhino. The 2 units (3 button) I got from them were defective and had to return both. One after 5 months due to a bad board and the replacement I got, because it was a bootleg unit.

You can try Rhino's Px6 unit, while I had issues with their Px3s those guys are really good in support and customer service. I even returned a 5 month old defective unit and got my full refund.

You can also buy a refurb unit (phoenix) and save some money, I did this after owning 2 new ones that were sent directly from China (Rhino) and had to retun them due to serious software and hardware issues. Is the only unit that has been a true plug and play for me, where everything has worked...
I had two 2G/32G units from them . The first one lasted 4 months until the board gave up. The second one, just lasted 1 day since it was an exchange unit for the faulty one and had to return it because also had bad hardware.
While Rhino's customer service is good their units aren't of good...
