    Tire Pressures Unavailable Message??

I’ve gotten the same message on my ‘19 PW. It usually occurs while I’m aired down and doing some significant off-road. It eventually comes back but I can’t figure out any correlations to attribute. TPMS batteries are all good. Dealer checked it out but, not surprisingly, couldn’t find anything...

    Rear view camera question

I’m installing a new Expedition One rear bumper in my 2019 Power Wagon but can’t figure out how to remove the tailgate backup camera so that I can reroute to the new bumper. The swing out arms with Geri cans and spare tire will block tailgate camera.

Knocked a metal ring off aft end of drive shaft

I cut the ring off and so far everything seems to be operating just fine. Dealer recommended driving without the ring to see if there was any detectable difference. There hasn’t been.

    Off road pages

I’m also assuming that software can provide this. I have the 12” Uconnect system and recently had the trailer camera wiring harness added and the dealer had to reconfigure my Uconnect to recognize that a trailer camera might be plugged into it. So, yeah! What’s so tough about this???

    Off road pages

Ok, I think that it’s time to refresh this thread. Is there a way to retrofit my ‘19 PW with the off-road pages? I am desperate. I would use them all the time.

    New to the PW World!

As promised: https://www.ramforum.com/threads/air-bags-in-rear.176472/ There is a link in this thread for complete information about installation. Note that the OEM bump stop spacers are needed, but the Daystar cradles and associated tapping holes to mount them are not. I mistakenly thought...

    New to the PW World!

That’s the beauty of the airbags that I have. Articulation is NOT limited. I did wheel travel measurements before and after installation and maximum downward travel was exactly the same. Maximum upward travel couldn’t be measured because I couldn’t figure out how to load the truck enough to...

New Software Comments, Suggestions & Questions

Yes, could be a cookie thing. As for layout, I’ll hold on any specific criticism until after I’ve been overlanding with it a bit more . I’ll wager that it’s just a matter of getting used to it. I’m sure that you know that, after a certain age, change is difficult to deal with. Thanks for all...

New Software Comments, Suggestions & Questions

Why do I now have to login every time I visit the forum, even though I’ve clicked on Stay Logged In? Extremely annoying. Also, I ONLY use my iPhone for this forum and navigation now seems more convoluted and irksome. Thanks.

    New to the PW World!

Welcome to the PW world. I have a ‘19 PW and occasionally tow a small TT. I DRASTICALLY improved the rideability by installing air bags. Very easy to install. There is a comprehensive thread on these in this forum. The link for the airbags is below. I installed mine and removed the factory...

    Catalytic converter theft prevention plate?

A friend of mine had his 1995 Lexus overlanding vehicle’s CC stolen along with a Prius CC while parked outside a repair shop where he was having his radiator replaced. This was in San Jose last week. Shop said that they weren’t responsible as it was a public parking area used for the business’...

How to fix computer for tire changing??

That’s really great. You wouldn’t happen to have the procedure handy, would you? I’ve been through the provided instructions front to back and have no idea how. Thanks for any additional help you can provide.

How to fix computer for tire changing??

I used the Tazer system on my’19 PW to reset the computer for the actual size of my “37” KO2s (actually only a bit over 36”). It reset for the speedometer and shift points only. It will not let one reset the TPMS low pressure warning and inflate to setpoints. In fact the instructions for the...

    Air Bags in Rear?

Installed the Loadlifter 5000 Ultimate Plus bags yesterday. Installation was really easy. Took some before and after measurements to check on articulation loss on extension. Couldn’t check the compression (jounce?) as I cannot duplicate the dynamics required for that condition in my driveway...

    Air Bags in Rear?

Thanks for the (numerous) replies. I do, however, get some serious squat with the TT. I normally don’t get into extreme articulation scenarios but the one-off shouldn’t cause the bag(s) to rip, IMHO. I guess I’ll find out. And looking at the design, if there is any loss of articulation...

    Air Bags in Rear?

Totally understand. A PW wouldn’t my first choice of a tow vehicle either. Unfortunately, my pockets aren’t deep enough to have an off-road vehicle and a tow vehicle. Since I spend <5% of my miles towing, I opted for a primary off-road vehicle, where I spend about 60-70% of my miles. And my TT...

    Air Bags in Rear?

Pulled the trigger on the AirLift Loadmaster 5000 Ultimate Plus this morning. Olyelr’s dissertation and all the many accompanying comments, etc really helped me decide. AirLift may have reengineered the design a touch as, after going through their installation instructions, it looks like the...

    Air Bags in Rear?

Update: turns out that Airlift doesn’t make a universal kit with bags long enough for Natasha’s rear coils. Totally unloaded the inside distance top to bottom is about 13” (inside width is a hair over 5.5”). Does anyone know of a company that makes airbags for the Power Wagon? Thanks.

    Air Bags in Rear?

I, also am seriously considering running air bags. Haven’t found any yet that are specific for Natasha (‘19 PW). Airlift has a universal kit that will probably do the job. I’ve seen “WDH” mentioned here. What is that? If it’s the external “air bags” that sit next to the coil, I’m concerned about...

    Off road pages

I have a’19 PW and I’d pay good money for the off-road pages. I was quite flabbergasted when, during my purchase experience, I realized that there was no way to get off-road pages for an off-road truck from the same dealer that sold other Mopar vehicles with off-road pages. .

    Off-Road Group Questions

You mentioned that you wanted a stiffer ride than stock. I believe that the preference of the off-road community is a softer ride but with more travel available in the shocks (for greater articulation). Stiffer shocks only cause more vibration and less comfort in the ride. Of course if you want...

SeasickSailor ‘19 PW (Natasha) build/mod log

The only picture I currently have is of the switch and chuck setup in the driver side Ramboxes. I won’t be able to get the compressor pics until January as Natasha and I aren’t currently collected.

The instructions for installation do include the trimming of the liner in that area. That was the easiest part.

5th Gen Power Wagon auxiliary light

I was considering A-pillar lights but frequently find myself bushwhacking so that was a no-go. Ended up in and on my Expedition One front bumper. Those are KC 4” round amber fogs and the KC Flex 40” bar. They nicely get the job done.
