Here’s a look at the first Jeep, Dodge, and Ram EVs set to arrive next year

Just as the winter cold caused a huge dislike of EV's. Timing could NOT be worse.

1500 5.7hemi 3.21end increase gearing with smaller tires?

Go down one size. That's a reasonable way to tilt things in the right direction without affecting normal ride and handling.

    TPMS Numbers Don’t Change

    I would just ignore them.

    I-70 Loveland Pass

Just for kicks, watch some "Ike Gauntlet" videos. There is a whole series of them. Here is one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlRoLXQjcSs&t=16s I have seen them all.

    Advice: Selling a Lifted Truck

Late to this thread, and I did not read all through it, but I would strongly suggest advertising it in some 4WD / Off Road enthusiast sites or FB groups. Perfect target audience for it. Good luck.

    Stock 3.6L Off-Road Performance.

I used to LOVE "Truck Night in America" on TV. You can still watch the episodes. https://www.history.com/shows/truck-night-in-america

    General truck financial question

I am about to give you some advice that many will not agree with. Brace yourself. I want you and her to focus on your and her LIFE, not specifically the truck. First with her, decide what level of commitment you two are making. Is it a "live together for the moment" thing, or "go all in, full...

Towing with a 3.6L V-6 what is safe and realistic for this engine

I have a 2019 Classic, rigged exactly the same as yours. The 3.55 gearing really helps. Whoever told you 85% is right on. Pushing any vehicle to its mechanical limits is not an optimal course. As long as you don't plan to tow into the high Rockies, or try to win races, feel confident that towing...

    For you viewing pleasure

Not something I like either but I have seen worse. The truck has 7100 miles on it, so it is used. Whoever bought it new paid up for it so they can rig their ride the way they want...

    Size of tires

Typically any tire size change + or - from stock results in a MPG loss to some degree.

    The Ceramic bandwagon

It is! I absolutely love the Delmonico Red, so much so I insisted on it, but it is very difficult to keep clean. When clean though its the richest color out there.

    That RP is like water!

RP goes through the exact same API certification process as all other oils. If it say's 5w-20, then it is a 5w-20. If its really thinner than that it would be labeled differently.

    I Gotta Ask...

I use my truck like a car 98% of the time. The other 2% is enough to justify (not that I need to) owning a truck. Its really about personal preference. For the moment, we still have the freedom to buy and drive what we want.

    Weekend up in smoke..

I went to the beach a few years ago. Long story short, a jug of water spilled on the charcoal I was going to use. I could not easily leave and buy more, so I tried to make it work. I used several attempts of lighter fluid, but the charcoal would not light up. Well, a few random edges tried to...

    My first Ram

I gotta ask, where did you get the "gator" screen name, living in HI? Down here in the swamps it would make perfect sense, but in HI? lol

Is my truck totaled or fixable?

I don't subscribe to the knee jerk thoughts some have that "it will never be the same". You got a good repair.

Truck sitting for a long time, any recommendations?

No, no and no! Suspensions were made and designed to be loaded. You put a vehicle up on blocks and the suspension dangles freely without any load you are ASKING for problems! I wish this old tale would die once and for all. No offense but its terrible advice. All else you said is spot on!

Truck sitting for a long time, any recommendations?

Yes! Few people understand this but that is the exactly right thing to do. I have stored vehicles for 2+ years before multiple times and this is probably the most important thing to do. Batteries and oil and all else is secondary. Fuel is the most important thing. Fill up, top it off, and do...

Sucks to be poor - Rant

The Labor movement almost completely destroyed American vehicle production not too many years ago. The Japanese benefitted greatly from their abuses.
