Got a 2019 too, you don't need the additive because there is no clutch pack. It's Torsen ( ? )
Used Amsoil SEVERE GEAR® 75W-90, brake cleaner and reused the gasket. ( It's the reusable kind )
Good luck and send pics
:drunk:
Mine are all lighted too.
I was surprised to see those orange bottom strip DRLs accepted in Canada.
What is a pain is to not be able to turn them off in drive-thrus... It still lights the car in front lol
It works well!
Here's a partial review.
I'll split this in 3 categories.
Empty/low load ( 400 lbs in my case ):
Timbrens at 1" from axle
Rides as usual but the rear taps when hitting deep long holes or very harsh road bumps.
So a somewhat harsher ride at city speed with lunar surfaced...
Yep!
Those dual really mask well.
Alignment and tire balance at next shop time.
I had a 2015 JK that started to wobble. Well the damper was shot at only 15-20K so I replaced the PW's damper right away.
I may trade soon for a Ford though.
Here in Québec, we are still in lockdown.
No school, no...
Hi Andrew,
I'm Canadian too and paid 60 000$. It was listed at 64 000$ after the incentives.
Bought in July 2019. Only options is level one luxe ( they all it ) and ramboxes.
At 70 000$ well equipped, in the ''pandemic'', I think you have good price.
Hopes this gives you a ballpark.
As for...
The dampers are pretty much straight. That pic made them look really crooked.
Well, now you make me want to try it the other way.
I might get to it next week. 30 min work and some testing.
I'll keep you posted
Hey all,
Just installed a set of Timbrens in the back yesterday to help the squat when hauling 1000+ lbs.
( always 400 lbs with the ramboxes and a quad and trailer )
Unloaded test run was a success.
Loaded test run will happen next week end ( 17-18 )
I'm not convince it's the best way to go...
Well got the cable today and did the update.
I think it lifted the truck another inch. Nice.
Will update in a couple of days if I notice any real changes.
Cheerios
Mine quited out of gear selection one time too.
I figured I had accidentally touched a button on the steering wheel and forgot about it.
So it was not my big fingers after all :waytogo:
Will be doing the update as soon as the cable gets in.
( ordered at same time as the pulsar but from a...
Everything is great.
It pulls like a sports truck and I love it.
Give your truck a day, the radio should replace itself ( like @TerrysWagon and another one. Correct me Terry if this is false )
I run the Magnaflow direct replacement 19493 with the stock resonator.
It's a straight through muffler.
Good tone and low drone. MDS sounds awful. Easy install too.
Very happy.
I have about 35 000 KM on 37s 4.10 gears on my 2019 PowerWagon.
I did rock crawling, sand pits, lots of snow ( and sometimes more then 24" deep ).
The 4 low is low enough.
The truck pulls a 5000 Lbs trailer all week for work and a 3000 camper or 3500 trailer with side by side on week ends...
I think they where all 1500 videos ( 2015 to 2018 have the same steering controls )
And I'm still stuck with the low pressure warning ( 35 to 40 PSI, but might test 45 PSI for better MPG )
No MDS from startup is a godsend. I actually drive the truck without Tow/Haul now.
I'll try performance...
Oh good! Glad they came back.
What screen do you have?
( I have the 8.4" ? screen and never had as much as a flicker )
Before the install, I watch some reviews on Youtube, so programmation went easy.
Let's say I'm youtube smart
:insane:
Soooo, what mode you prefer yet?
Seems Superchips has the highest response and waranty rate, from what I saw on the internets.
I hope they have my back if shit go south.
And for the octane... well I find the towing setting is the highest I'll go fo normal driving.
Pedal is just way too sensitive in performance mode.
And...
