How much better is a 2500 for towing?
I was in the same situation, towing my camper with a 1500 and it was squishy. I upgraded to 2500 and it was night and day difference. With the 1500 I was "white knuckle" with the 2500 it's a dream!- pjtj2k

6.4l terrible mpg
I totally cheat when I'm towing. I cruise around 65 and get behind a semi to take the wind off me . I'm towing Imagine 2600RB it's around 6500-6800.- pjtj2k

I have 2500 6.4 with 4:10. I get 17-18 with cruise on 70. When I'm towing I get 11mpg average. My truck is all stock.- pjtj2k

Unhappy with 1500 towing. Need Help
So true, I have the same trailer(2600RB) and I had a 1500 (3.92), my payload was 1100ish and I was always at or a little higher than my payload number. The 2500 with the Cummins payload is around 1800 - 1900 (4x4 Laramies). Not enough to justify the price. I went with 6.4 + 4.10 and my payload...- pjtj2k

Over spray from road paint!!
After washing up the truck I noticed that there was tiny yellow specs on my bumper and some of the plastic on the front of my truck. I realized it had to be over spray from a road crew painting the road during my trip over the summer. Any tips on how to get this off? Thanks -
Excessive fuel consumption while towing?
I have 2500 6.4 w/ 4.10. Just wrapped up 7500 mile trip. Our milage was anywhere between 9.5 and 11.4. Most of the time we sat right at 10mpg. Trailer was 6.5k, and a mix between flat and mountains. Yow! overinflated 2500 tires?
Same here, when I picked mine up, tires were at 85 and 90 psi. Adjusted psi to the door sticker 65 and 70. Smoothed out the ride tremendously.- pjtj2k

6.4 Hemi w/4.10s or Cummins?
I got the 6.4 w/4.10s. Wife and I are wrapping up a 7k trip towing our TT weighing 6.5k. Truck did great the entire trip. We got between 10-11 mpg. Unloaded we're getting 17-18.- pjtj2k

Ordered my truck April 4th, showed up at dealer 5/13. Total of 40 days (just under 6 weeks) 2500 limited 6.4, 4.10 rear, air suspension, TTPMS, and sunroof were the options I ordered it with. Everything else was standard limited package. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk- pjtj2k

Through the years...

Ram trailer TPMS system?

Proper procedure for WDH ***** with air suspension
I have the 1500 with air suspension, been towing with it for 2 years now. You are correct, before you hook up the trailer, put it in "Jack mode" so it doesn't adjust on you. Then connect up the WDH bars or chains so the weight is adjusted forward and back. Then you can take it out of Jack mode...- pjtj2k

Has anyone used the trailer tpms system that comes on the new Rams? I'm curious if it will pair up with any sensors or do the sensors need to be "Ram" specific sensors? Also can these sensors be the cheap ones that you put on the stems of the tires or do they need to be the installed sensors ...- pjtj2k

Towing and Payload (oh no, not again!)
Newbie here, I am trying to solve the towing and payload puzzle. I have a 2016 RAM 4x4 Laramie. I actually went to a CAT scale. This is with my wife and I plus full tank of gas. Anyone notice the front axle is over the GAWR? WTH??? This truck has NOT been modified. I don't know what to believe...- pjtj2k
