    2020 1500 3.6L - 12v always on not same as 5.7L

    Guys, ended up being a 10 minute job. 2 screws and a good tug and the panel was off. Fuse F54 was set to Position A which is battery feed. Used the fuse puller that is in the under hood fuse box to pull it and replace it in position B. Now the dash cam turns on and off with the ignition.

    Seems there are more than one fuse boxes on this truck. Need to remove the whole panel under the steering wheel to get at the right one. Mods, please remove this thread if you like. Sorry for the confusion.

    Guys, new 3.6L 1500 Laramie and the 12v outlet at the top of the dash, which shows a key, is always on. I searched and found threads were people wanted this and it seems a simple matter of swapping a fuse in location 54. Unfortunately even this that's what it shows in my manual. (Image attached)...
