    2002 1500 4.7L oil pressure switch issue

I second this. My dad bought his 02 4.7 brand new and they had an issue with the oil pressure sending units going bad very quickly. Replace with a fresh one from dodge and nothing happened since. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk

    Re: Flashing LED Fog Lights

Well, I put an inline resistor. 10 ohm resistor will be plenty to trick the system to thinking a regular bulb is there. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk

    Re: Flashing LED Fog Lights

Your dogs may have a built in resistor that went bad. Every light on the dodges seems to need some resistance that LED cannot provide. The canbus system on these trucks is annoying at times. The flashing is the test signal going to the lights looking for that resistance. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL...

    The 6.4 HD Hemi Thread

Good info man! I don't see a thermostat bad at 11k miles but weirder things have happened. Definitely gonna look at the trans block bypass. Appreciate it. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk

Found this replacement that should be able to bring down temps. I wonder if it'd be worth it. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk

    The 6.4 HD Hemi Thread

That's the info I was looking for. Truck hasn't hit 11k yet and I bought it used at 9700. Wasn't sure what normal was. I appreciate the input fellas. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk

So, I have a 2018 and was wondering what you guys normally see as far as coolant and trans temp when just around town unloaded. I regularly see 210* coolant temp. Ambient here in Texas has been above 90* each time I've bothered to look at it. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk

who has highest mileage gas heavy duty?

That's incredible! Heaviest trailer I'll pull is an aluminum stock trailer with maybe 3 horses in it, and it won't be often. So hopefully I'll have mine around at least half that mileage. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk

who has highest mileage gas heavy duty?

I got no dog in this fight but, I hope to one day. As of 5/24/20 I'm the owner of a 2018 2500 6.4L 4x4. Had 9700mi at time of purchase, and looking to keep it around well past the 200k mark. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk

who has highest mileage gas heavy duty?

The O2 was probably still being burned in. Of it doesn't come back then that's all it was for the misfire once. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk

    Loose bolt on valve cover

You're risking a small oil leak. That's about it if you plan on fixing it soon. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk

Check it while cranking, foot off the gas. And with foot on the gas the same way that works. You'll see the voltage difference. Also pull you fuel pump relay while doing this so it doesn't accidentally start while you're under the hood. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk

You'll need an extra set of hands and just use a voltmeter. Press the probes onto the back of the plug trying to hit the pins or bare wire. I don't know which wires they are, but try to find the ground and signal return back to the ECU. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk

With your info about the pedal, I'm leaning towards the TPS. Could have been bad from the get. Check the signal voltage on startup when it's giving you problems. Pressing the pedal changes that voltage and thus "fixing the issue" to help it start. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk

I had to replace my TSB twice. A brand new Bosch sensor from O'Reilly was clocked wrong and putting out a wide open throttle signal on startup. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk

    2008 4.7: Weak

What gear is in your rear end? An upgrade may help out with low end feel as well. Though that is a more expensive option and could kill whatever fuel mileage you're used to having. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk

Could also be a TPS(Throttle Position Sensor) problem. I had that happen on my 02 4.7 Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk
