I previously posted about how I 'muted' my taillights with VHT Niteshade.
Well, now I moved to Texas, and in Texas you have to get a yearly inspection and any kind of taillight tint will fail your inspection. (I'd like to say thank you to the quick thinking technician who alerted me to that...
I managed to make it across the country from the North Dakota/Minnesota border to Texas last week and my RAM was the trusty steed it always is. Got my Texas insurance, and my inspection and registration will be next, so this morning I went out for some Sunday Truck Therapy, got it all cleaned up...
I saw "favorite detailer" listed in the title of one of the pinned posts but all the responses seemed to be about waxes as versus "detailers" so I started this thread instead.
Just wanted to mention this stuff I found at the AutoZone 7 blocks from my house.
I was looking for something to help...
This might seem like an odd question, but has anybody ever seen "black chrome" or "smoked chrome" accessories and parts for RAM trucks? When I was a teenager, I met a guy that had a custom finish on his chopper that he described as "smoked chrome," and that's exactly what it looked like — a...

I'm just sayin'... I love my truck but if you want it and you're willing to pay 32-thousand dollars for it, we can talk.
I found this place on Facebook and ordered a cartoon drawing of my truck, plus 8 bucks for the .psd file so I could do my own messing around. Pretty happy with what I got:
This was the guide photo:
and this is what I got:
In my experience a body shop never orders the parts ahead of time because they have no guarantee the customer will show up.
If you want the part to be there and ready to install, I would recommend you tell them and offer to pay a deposit beforehand.
*Edit: just saw your update*
I got a social media reminder yesterday that it was the three year anniversary of buying my RAM, which I've nicknamed 44 (XLIV). I looked through a folder of photographs and realized I have a pretty good assortment of photos that would work as a step-by-step appearance makeover.
